Dr. Robert Bernstein graduated from Brandeis University and received his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. He continued his residency at Penn and was retained as an Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Bernstein has special interests in cosmetic dentistry and implants.

Dr. Bernstein is currently the President of the American Academy of Dental Group Practices. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. Dr. Bernstein is an avid skier and always enjoys a competitive game of tennis with his kids.

Dr. Elizabeth Balis received her doctorate from Temple University School of Dentistry. Initially, she found her niche in pediatric dentistry which led to her prominent skills and patience with nervous adults. Dr. Balis is very nurturing and welcomes the use of nitrous oxide for patient comfort. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Balis was voted one of the 'Top Dentists' in South Jersey, by South Jersey Magazine. She is fluent in Greek and enjoys family time. Dr. Balis spends her free time cheering for her boys on the ice rink.

Dr. Lilyana Angelova was born and raised in Bulgaria where she graduated with Honors from Sofia Medical University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. She completed an extensive education and training in Oral Surgery and Diagnosis and Treatment of TM Disorders in 2001. Dr. Angelova moved to the U.S.A. in 2003 and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Pennslyvania in 2008 when she was given two awards: award for excellence and research in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Pathology and Radiology and award for excellence in Restorative Dentistry.

At present, she practices General Dentistry in South Jersey - Washington Township Dental Associates and she is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Department of Restorative and preventative sciences of University of Pennsylvania School of dental medicine. She has been recognized by International Association of Dentist physicians as well as the Consumer research Council of America . Member of AGD ( academy of general dentistry ) and AAOM ( American academy of oral medicine) . During her free time, Dr. Angelova enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and participating in the Give Kids a Smile Program.

Dr. Craig Appelstein is an Endodontic specialist. He received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 2000. He received his graduate degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. He completed his residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs of New Jersey in 2005.

Dr. Appelstein completed his Endodontic specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His current professional affiliations include American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics. Married to wife Jamie, he enjoys cooking, golf and sudoku.

Dr. Czachor studied at Rutgers University and completed his dental study at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Newark in the 7 year BA/DMD program. He completed his residency in the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson program. Dr. Czachor is fluent in Polish and was born and raised in New Jersey. In his leisure time, Dr. Czachor enjoys traveling, going to the gym, playing tennis and golf, and is a devout New York sports fan. Dr. Czachor joined our practice in July of 2013.

Dr. Patricia Sansaricq graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with her DMD in 2003 and continued her training with a General Practice residency at Philadelphia's Albert Einstein Hospital in 2004 and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins in 2006. Each Year she attends extensive continuing education to bring the latest advances in dentistry to her patients.

Dr. Sansaricq is committed to comprehensive dental care for the whole family and will treat Special Needs in the O.R. setting. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and various local dental societies. Dr. Sansaricq enjoys hiking, gardening and participating in her children's various activities.

Dr. Asal graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and received her DMD in 2018 with an honors degree in Community Oral Health and a Teaching Appreciation Award. After working for one year, she decided to peruse her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in 2021, where she treated many patients from infancy to adulthood, patients with special needs, and patients with dental trauma in the office setting and under general anesthesia at the hospital.

Dr. Asal is currently a part time clinical associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania Pediatric Dentistry Department, where she enjoys teaching residents and the dental students. Dr. Asal enjoys spending time with the family and playing tennis with her husband in her free time.

Dr. Reza Hakim Shoushtari received his first dental degree from Semmelweis University in Hungary. After practicing dentistry for a few years in Netherland he moved to the United States and received his second dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, during which he was recognized as The Recipient of the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award by the Academy of Osseointegration, received The Howell Smith Award in Prosthetic Dentistry, and graduated with an Honors in radiology. Then he pursued his specialty degree in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis at the University of Pennsylvania.

During his residency, Dr. Hakim received the prestigious Arnold S. Weisgold Directors Award, which is given to the best resident of the class. Enjoying teaching and basic science, Dr. Hakim received his Master of Science in Oral Biology and is currently clinical assistant professor at the Periodontics Department at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Reza and his wife, Dr. Asal, enjoy playing tennis and traveling in their free time.

Dr. Mehta received his training in restorative and esthetic Dentistry at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he graduated with the highest honors. He is also an internationally trained dentist holding a degree practicing in India and also practicing clinical dentistry for over a decade. He loves learning about the latest techniques that dentistry has to offer and to provide the best care for his patients.

Dr. Mehta enjoys the esthetic part of dentistry such as veneers and esthetic restorations. He is a member of various professional organizations including the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Southern Dental Society. In his free time Dr. Mehta enjoys staying fit, loves spending time with his niece and nephew and also loves to travel.
