Washington Street Dentistry has been designed with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies for the highest standard of dental care. We are committed to the well-being of our patients, and maintain excellent standards that surpass both OSHA and CDC expectations. Comfort is also important, and we have created an environment that promotes peace of mind for you and your family.

The practitioners at Washington Street Dentistry participate in most insurance plans, including Medicaid. Our friendly, knowledgeable business assistants can help you determine your benefits, and will submit insurance claims on your behalf. We want our patients to receive the care needed for healthy, beautiful smiles, and devise payment plans as needed for the completion of services. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and CareCredit.

Over the years, this innovative form of x-ray technology has grown to become the new standard of care. Digital x-rays allow us to see tooth structure both above and below the gum line in a computerized image, rather than on a dental film. This technology is both patient and environmentally friendly, emitting 80 percent less radiation, and far fewer chemicals into the environment.

An invaluable diagnostic tool, the intraoral camera allows us to view the different angles in the mouth that previous tools could not obtain. This camera, which is small enough to fit comfortably in the mouth, gives us a full-mouth view right on a digital monitor, allowing us to spot any problems that may be developing. This technology also helps us explain to our patients the dental issues they are facing, as they can view the images of their mouths right along with us. Images from our intraoral camera may also be sent to insurance companies as necessary data for gaining treatment approval.

In the past, dentists detected cavities through x-rays and dental probing. Today, we have the DIAGNOdent to give us accurate, early detection of dental caries. Using laser technology, this diagnostic tool finds cavities when they are still very small, allowing the opportunity for early, conservative treatment.

Most people know endodontics as root canal therapy. This common procedure is performed to remove infection that has affected the pulp of a tooth. The root canal procedure removes the nerves and the pulp of an affected tooth. Rotary endodontics facilitates precision and speed in root canal therapy, so that you are out of the chair faster.

Hello everyone, I am Lena. Dr. Church has set a precedent of making healthy smiles and I am truly overjoyed to be a part of the family. In my 28 years, I have learnt that life throws you curveballs, so in turn I have learned to laugh a lot. I have been in the dental industry since I was 16 years of age. I have experience in pediatric, general dentistry, oral surgery, and general anesthesia. I joined the Washington Street of Dentistry in June 2019.

My goal for every patient is to provide an atmosphere that is comfortable, fun, and informative. I love seeing my patients leave with a smile as well as the informal to keep that smile bright. I have two amazing boys that I love with all my heart Brent (5) who loves dinosaurs, and Braydon (3) who loves anything with 4 wheels.

I started going to Washington Street Dentistry when I moved to Irvington a few years ago. I relocated about an hour away and still make the trip down to see Dr. Church as this is the best dentist Ive been to. The staff are great and Dr. Church has always done a wonderful job! My visits have always been painless and they always take the time to answer any questions I may have. I would highly recommend them!
