Dr. Reese attended Weber State University, graduating in the class of 2007. He received his DMD at theCase Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2010 andcontinued there to be awarded his Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate inEndodontics in 2012.
He is a member of the American Dental Association,the American Association of Endodontists, the Oregon Dental Association, OKU Dental Honor Society, the International Association for Dental Research, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. He servesas an Adjunct Associate Professor in Endodontology at the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry, where he teaches future dentists how to do root canals.
Dr. Reese grew up in Kaysville, Utah with his brother and two sisters. He livedin Argentina for two years and is fluent in Spanish. After finishing his dental residency in Cleveland, Ohio in 2012, Dr. Reese, his wife Geneva, and their three children moved to Oregon. Dr. Reese has been practicing Endodontics in Oregon since 2012.
Dr. Wiltbankattended Dental School at Oregon Health and Sciences University,graduatingin the class of 1998. He returned to school at the University of Texas, Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, where he completed a residency in Endodontics, class of 2007.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is a member of and volunteers in leadership for the American Association of Endodontists in the capacity of a representative to the American Dental Associations Codes Maintenance Committee and to the American Association of Dental Consultants. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. At the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry,Department of Endodontics he currently works as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Endodontology and serves as anoccasional guest lecturer.
Dr. Wiltbank grew up in New Jersey and is the oldest of 6 children. He lived in Guatemala for two years and is fluent in Spanish. He came to Oregon to attend OHSUand worked as a general dentist for seven years, then went toTexas for his endodontic schooling. Dr. Wiltbank, his wife Krista, and theirtwo children live in Tigard.

This is a great place to take care of your teeth and I was referred by Oral Surgeon Dr. Stacey Geisler, also a highly experienced dentist. The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and the team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I had little hope other than an extraction. But a complicated retreatment root canal was performed by Dr. Kenneth who did an excellent job saving my tooth. As a Health care provider myself, all the people here demonstrated excellent bedside manners and were very gentle and kind to me. The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family... I would highly recommend WSE to anyone!!!

After calling several places to try in get in asap for a root canal that I desperately needed (losing night after night of sleep to pain). They offered me the soonest date while also adding me to their cancel list in hopes to get me in sooner. Then my experience was wonderful, they were all super nice, professional and walked through the process to help ease my nerves. Hours later my numbing wore off and I have no pain for the first time in over a week I'll get a good night's rest. Thank you!

This office was really wonderful. I was already crying purely out of fear when I first entered their office ("I'm only 35! How do I have to have a root canal already!") but was immediately impressed when Dr. Wiltbank himself came out to greet me and one other patient in the lobby. He was so personable, caring, and patient, taking the time to listen to my concerns and talk through them with me before we began any procedures. He's very good at what he does and I felt no pain. It felt easy to trust him. The entire staff was great -- the receptionist was empathetic and reassuring, and the hygienist (assistant?) was so sweet and calming, bringing me a tissue and letting me cry out my fears. They really have a tough job; they have to face people like me every single day and are not only professional about it, but so caring the whole time. Like family. Highly recommend Washington Square Endodontics. Even if I hope to never see them again.

I was referred to Dr. Wiltbank by Dr. Karie Lee (also an amazing and sweet dentist). I had pretty uncomfortable sensitivity in an upper molar. My tooth definitely needed a root canal. First, the front staff are SO nice. Really genuine people, I didn't get that, "I hate my job and am smiling because I'm paid to" feeling. The staff were all kind and had a "family" vibe. My dental assistant was very gentle and kind. Especially during the shots. I asked if she had kids because she was so sweet. She treated me like a loved one (insert heart emoji here). Dr. W was very down to earth and explained everything to me as needed. I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do I would def use WSE again. Something that really stood out to me, was the after care. Dr. W explained to me the discomfort that comes sometimes with root canals after the treatment. He was very accurate and ahead of the pain. He gave me instructions to keep this discomfort at bay so I didn't need narcotic pain meds. He explained how if I kept ibuprofen on board before the numbness wore off and stayed with soft foods, it would help so much. Dr. W also called me later that evening to check up on me. Wow! You don't see this kind of customer service often these days, but when you do it makes your whole day. So in essence, I got a root canal and went home better than when I woke up. How many times can you say that?!? Needless to say, I had a great experience here.

I was referred me to Dr. Reese at Washington Square Endodontics (WSE) for a root canal. I have never had a root canal done before and I was unsure of what to expect. I was anxious from both the procedure and going to a new dentist. However, every interaction I had with the team at WSE was nothing short of positive. I received a confirmation call the day before my appointment and they answered all my questions and concerns. When I arrived to my appointment, I was met with welcoming smiles. Sarah, talked me through my paperwork and insurance information as well as the details of the coverage and what I would owe. Then Jodi and Dr. Reese put me at ease throughout the entire procedure making sure I was comfortable and explaining as they went so I always knew what was going on. I felt so taken care of throughout this process, much more than a patient, which is how going to the dentist should feel. Though I hope to never need another root canal, I am glad to know that the amazing team at Washing Square Endodontics is there in case I need them.. Thanks!

Dr. Wiltbank is an amazing dentist. He's gentle, proficient, and provides a calm and comfortable environment for his patients. I came with a failed root canal that had abscessed and Dr. Wiltbank not only fixed the problem, he made it one of the easiest dental experiences I've had. His entire staff is sweet and personable. I 10/10 recommend this office.

What an incredibly positive experience! From my initial contact through the evaluation, procedure and follow up, Washington Square Endodontics treated me with the utmost respect and care. Dr. Wiltbank, and his staff, are some the kindest and most conscientious people I have met. The root canal procedure was carefully explained. All questions were thoughtfully answered. The procedure itself was performed with such skill and care that I really only felt some very minor discomfort. I don't wish a serious dental issue on anyone but if you find yourself needing an endodontist this is the place to go. They are awesome and will take good care of you.

The Staff at Washington Square Endodontics are extremely proficient at explaining the process and procedure of your dental care. They make you feel very comfortable and are fun to joke with and just have fun which puts you at ease. To my surprise, Dr. Wiltbank is the same way. He talks to his patience like they are in a comfy living room just chatting about what going on with their dental care. Not only is he highly skilled, he is really good at giving shots so they don't hurt much at all and explaining what he's doing during the procedure. He also checks in with you often to make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Wiltbank is very passionate about helping people and does excellent work. I highly recommend this team of professionals to anyone.

Dr. Wiltbank was very professional, and at the same time, personable and informative about my treatment details. I have very high anxiety around dental work, or dental visits, but the staff here made me so comfortable even during a dreaded root canal. They told me what to expect and had me actually laughing by the end (no laughing gas needed). If you need dental work done, I would definitely recommend here.

Both Dr. Reese and Dr. Wiltbank are caring and skilled endodontists. You can count on them to care for your patients like they were family. Dr. Reese took my call over the weekend and accommodated my patient for emergency treatment the next day. I highly recommend this team!

The staff here is comprised of true professionals, I was referred to this office by my regular dentist for a root canal, I really can't think of something that would've made my experience a better one other than not having to have a root canal. Who wants a root canal,? I don't know but if I have to have one I'm not thinking twice about where I'm going to get it done.
