Dr. Carlos J Huergo is a Cuban graduated dentist who trained in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Havana. After he arrived in the United States, he was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, obtaining his degree in DMD.
He obtained a great deal of experience in all aspects of dentistry from the UPENN educational environment. Providing comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds, he got familiar with our community. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he can stay updated with new topics and techniques to help treat and educate his patients. Born and raised in Cuba, he is in love with Philly's spring and summer seasons. He is also a big fan of soccer, especially Real Madrid supporters.

A vacation picture scared me! When had my teeth become so uneven and badly discolored? I couldn't wait to get home and to Dr. Hassler to see what dental miracle he could suggest -- I hoped there was something! And to me it is a miracle. New crowns on the upper teeth make me proud to smile -- no more looking for excuses to mask up! P.S. Totally painless; too.
