Dr. Sung has earned an honorable title of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). He is an active member of professional organizations including Washington Association of Orthodontics (WAO) and Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. His clinical and academic research studies were presented in American Association of Dental Research (AADR), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO), and UCLA case reports.
