Dr. Wan grew up in Seattle and graduated from Yale University with a major in Classical Greek. After college, he spent a number years living abroad in Asia before returning to the U.S. for his dental studies. In 2010, he graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.Dr. Wan went on to specialize in Endodontics by completing a two-year post-doctoral residency at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University where he earned a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Endodontics. During his residency, he was trained to treat complex root canal under a dental operating microscope and perform endodontic microsurgery. He also treated patients at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and the Boston University faculty practice, both in Boston, MA, in addition to practicing part-time privately in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.Dr. Wan lives in Edmonds with his wife, Aileen. They enjoy hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and he is an avid fan of Seattle sports. He also plays violin in the Seattle Festival Orchestra.Dr. Wan splits his time between all three of our offices.

Dr. Ashley Barrineau received her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry andfurthered her clinical training in a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington with a focuson providing comprehensive care to medically compromised patients. Just went to get a root canal here today. Positive environment and they all made sure I was comfortable. They were quick and efficient and made sure I knew the plan and process. I'd recommend them.

I was referred here by the tribe. Took my kid in for the appointment at noon. The doctor was nice and fast with the exam. Very polite and friendly, explained things so I could understand them and not in a way that made me feel dumb. My kid needs a root canal they said they have an appointment the next day at noon. I agree because that's great right?! Nope. I forgot it's not a normal week for my family... My mom just passed away 2 weeks ago and her services were the day before. So I'm not thinking and say yes to the appointment for the following day at noon. My family are going back to Hawaii, California and Alaska and I want to have a quick visit with the ones i can before they leave. I call and give a short explanation about why I need to reschedule and am told I still will be charged the $100 fee for the appointment... I wasn't thinking when I agreed the day before (less than 24 hours before) and even after the office manager says I'll still be charged. I hope anyone else will be shown a little more compassion. Friendly dentist and dental assistant though. The 2 stars are for them and the nice lady that answered the phone and apologized after speaking with the office manager.

Got a bill for $200 not knowing what for, this is something I did not know nor I was told about it, very disappointed, please be advised for unexpected bills for no reason

Dr. Barrineau did such an amazing job on my root canal, I felt no discomfort at all. The office staff went above and beyond, I was so impressed and felt so welcome. My tooth had been causing me pain for nearly a month, and they got me in to have the root canal done the same day that they did my consultation. To not have to wait any longer and have a solution for the pain is such a relief. Dr. Barrineau made sure I had no questions and kept me informed on every step during the procedure - I felt no anxiety or stress at all. The office is a small and comfortable, and immaculately clean. Obviously I hope that I don't need anymore root canals done in the future, but I would be glad to come back if I did. Thank you!

Staff were extremely friendly, as was Dr. Wan. Will recommend to friends and coworkers. They got all the work done within an hour! Love the atmosphere there. Small, not a lot of people, so that definitely helped with my anxiety. Amazing place!

I just got a root canal done here yesterday. As unpleasant as getting one done is, the ladies here made it a good experience. The atmosphere is clean, positive, and professional. They took very good care of me and I would highly recommend this place. The only thing I would recommend, is that they allow patients to have the option of doing a payment plan. Especially for patients who have to self pay because they have to wait the 1 year for their dental insurance to cover a percentage of the more expensive procedures. Aside from that it was a great experience all around.

I had a root canal and they were very gentle asking how I was doing multiple times along the process and they even ask what kind of music youd like to listen to while you're in the chair which is actually a big help since it helped ease my anxiety

I visited Washington Endodontics for a root canal this month and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of my procedure! The staff was friendly from the time I scheduled my appointment to the end of my procedure. I also enjoyed having the option to listen to my choice of music during treatment as it helped ease my jitters. A special thank you Dr. Barrineau and Chloe for being so amazing and kind! The two of you make a great team!

YALL, Dr. WAN and his staff were so amazing! They made me feel so comfortable, I've never felt so good after a root canal before but it was so fast, so comfortable. They also gave me the choice of having a blanket ! And I could pick my own music to listen too. This is the place to come for comfort and teeth fixing ! I'll be back !

I went to see Dr. Wan for a root canal. I have had several root canals in the past and this was by far the best experience. Dr. Wan and his staff are attentive and caring.... simply wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Wan for your endodontic needs.

I went in for one root canal and they were able to do two while I was there! They were having problems with their stereo system and Alexa not cooperating, but they were willing to sing me Christmas music while I was getting worked on! By far the best experience I have ever had with dental work

I entered their office in sooo much pain and they got me right in to X-ray they told me I needed a root canal but were totally booked Dr Wan came and sat with me in the waiting room for a few minutes while I cried then went and asked his staff who could and would be willing to stay late and 3 staff members said they would so Dr Wan come back out and said for me to come back at closing and they would fix me up...... need less to say I came back and they were so caring and wonderful to me Dr Wan removed performed the procedure and was so kind. Thank you everyone at Washington Endodontics for staying late and taking great care of me!!
