Dr. Wan grew up in Seattle and graduated from Yale University with a major in Classical Greek. After college, he spent a number years living abroad in Asia before returning to the U.S. for his dental studies. In 2010, he graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.Dr. Wan went on to specialize in Endodontics by completing a two-year post-doctoral residency at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University where he earned a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Endodontics. During his residency, he was trained to treat complex root canal under a dental operating microscope and perform endodontic microsurgery. He also treated patients at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and the Boston University faculty practice, both in Boston, MA, in addition to practicing part-time privately in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.Dr. Wan lives in Edmonds with his wife, Aileen. They enjoy hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and he is an avid fan of Seattle sports. He also plays violin in the Seattle Festival Orchestra.Dr. Wan splits his time between all three of our offices.

Dr. Ashley Barrineau received her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry andfurthered her clinical training in a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington with a focuson providing comprehensive care to medically compromised patients. Dr. Barrineau returned to herhome state of Virginia and practiced as a general dentist prior to specializing in Endodontics at Universityof California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. She prides herself on providing compassionate andquality care to her patients and the community.Her research conducted at UCLA has received national recognition as the sole recipient of the2019 Robert H. AhlstromNew Investigator Award for Dental Informatics Research. Thisawardhighlights the crucial role of dental informatics standards in improving the quality of patientcarethrough the use of technology while maximizing patient health and safety. Herresearchis a reflection ofthe collaborative efforts between the Sections of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology and Endodontics atUCLA.The needs of her patients remain Dr. Barrineaus primary concern. She imparts a minimally-invasiveapproach to conventional surgical and non-surgical endodontic treatments with a focus on theinterrelationship between oral and systemic health. Dr. Barrineau utilizes a combination of the latesttreatments and technologies to help optimize patient healing and experience.Dr. Barrineauis also licensed in California and Virginia. Sheis a member of several nationallyrecognized dental associations including the AAE and ADA. She is a nature enthusiast and enjoysbackpacking, mountain biking, and running in her free time.

I had a root canal done by Dr. Barrineau, she was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I experienced absolutely no pain during or after procedure, great experience!

I had a very good experience today as the staff, including DR Ashley, took on a very difficult job 'with an infected tooth. A very professional experience!!

I went to this endontist today and got a root canal done by Ashley Barrineau. I was impressed with this place from the moment I walked in. The receptionist was a sweetheart. Then I met Ashley. She was down to earth and made me feel comfortable from the start. She had amazing bedside manner and explained everything she was doing and what to expect. It has been almost 9 hours since my procedure (and my procedure was a pretty invasive one) and I have had NO pain whatsoever!!!!! Ashley also called me after she was done working to see how I was feeling. I have never had a dentist to that ever! Needless to say I am absolutely blown away!!! I will be recommending Ashley to everyone I know! Thank you Ashley for doing such an AMAZING job!!! Brittany

Absolutely great experience! Dr. Wan was great, very professional and helpful. From someone who is a bit scared of going to the dentist my experience here was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone to come here.

I do not like the dentist let alone having a root canal. Dr. Wan and his assistant Emily made it a pleasant experience. They played name that tune on Alexa and took score which made the time go by quicker. Dr. Wan is gentle on your mouth and the whole office is friendly.

I was sent to Dr. Wan by my dentist. Dr. Wan and his staff went out of their way to make me comfortable during my procedure. I selected 50's music and we discussed many of the songs. I had no discomfort afterwards and would Highly Recommend Dr. Wan

Thanks to Dr. Wan and his friendly staff for doing a successful root canal for me. Their office is nice and clean. The staff was kind and helpful at getting me in as soon as possible. I would encourage anyone needing a root canal to give Dr. Wan's office a call for a consult.
