We were referred to Wash Park Pediatric Dentistry when our (then) 3 year old developed cavities. They have been nothing but wonderful in getting him comfortable at the dentist and were able despite several false starts to successfully fill the cavities in the office this morning. We have nothing but praise for the office and staff!

I recently switched to Wash Park Pediatric Dentistry to get a second opinion for my son and had a wonderful experience! Dr. Patrick went above and beyond. He spent lots of time with education and we had multiple phone conversations to try and coordinate care for my child. He even reached out to other dentist to help find someone to do a combo surgery for my child so he doesn't need to go under anesthesia twice. I have truly appreciated his time and his team. Highly recommend

Amazing experience today for my 2 year old's first dental appointment. The hygienist was very patient and let him touch all the equipment before using it. She always asked for consent before doing something. He had such a successful first cleaning! The office has some private rooms including a sensory room! The staff have extra training for kids who have sensory differences and could benefit from extra support. My initial call with the front desk scheduling staff was amazing--they actually talked to me for about 30 minutes concerning my older child's specific needs and how to best support the visit. It was amazing to finally find a dental practice that "gets it"!

We came in for a tongue tie for our infant after many confusing opinions / data points. Dr Patrick was extremely thorough in sharing details about the anatomy and different severities of procedure and his recommendations in each case before even looking at our baby. We did end up having the procedure which was smooth and quick, and the staff was amazing helping up make sure baby was able to nurse and happy and ready to go home. Really great team and experience.

I had my 3yo for his exam & cleaning. The staff was incredibly nice, starting from reception & a nurse Miriam. She explained every step of the process to the kid. So therefore he was calm and was doing whatever she asked of him. Then dr Patrick came to do the exam. To be honest, I wouldn't wanna go back there. It felt like he is in such a rush & irritated. He pushed on the kid's mouth without even explaining what he is doing, tapping on his nose. Without even trying to make the kid comfortable. So my son starting crying and resisting him. Even tho he was just looking. When Miriam was doing, xray, cleaning and flossing he was totally cool. For god's sakes, if its pediatric dentistry, you should be ok with spending time on being nice to kids. If it annoys him, he should have gone to adult's dentistry. Not recommending.

Dr Patrick and his team of hygienists are amazing. They are pros with young toddlers. My two year old feels completely comfortable here and holds still for them to brush her teeth better than she does with me at home!

My 2.5yo son just had his first experience in the reclined chair and with the dental tools. Let me tell you, this place is awesome! The tv on the ceiling with his favorite movie, the kind and respectful hygienists, the fun toothpaste flavors, awesome! We left and my son said "the dentist is super fun! I want to go back to the dentist tomorrow". I'm grateful that they are helping us cultivate positive relationships with healthy habits.

My 5 year old daughter and I had a lovely experience at Wash Park Pediatric Dentistry! They really go over the top to make it a great experience for the little ones. They have lots of colorful decorations, toys, stuffies for the kids to hold and even have TVs mounted on the ceiling above the chairs with every show imaginable. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable too!

Everyone that I have ever seen here is amazing. I recommend this place to everyone I know with a kid. The fact that they have parking now is a huge bonus. I love it. The doctor is amazing and has worked together with us for my daughters special needs and young age.

Our appointment was scheduled for 11:30 AM. The dentist didn't enter the room until 12:30 PM. We were informed the internet had been out, however, this should not impact the patient visit. The internet has no bearing on treatment. Patient information can be easily collected on a paper chart. Dental visits (routine or otherwise) do not require internet access. Dentists and dental assistants do not need to access the internet to provide care. This was incredibly unprofessional and a significant waste of time. The only staff who are impacted by an internet outage during point of care are the office manager and front desk staff.

I wish my adult dentist was this awesome! My kids had a great time getting their teeth cleaned, taking x-rays, and getting their dental exam. The hygienists and the Dr. were all awesome with kids, and they spent a lot of time talking with me about the kids' teeth, proper home hygiene, and answering my questions. We are so happy with Dr. Patrick and his team!

My son Noah is 8 years old and diagnosed w/ severe Autism. He also has a history of traumatic dental visit experiences. Noah did so incredibly well (for him) during the entire visit! I must admit I wasn't expecting him to tolerate more than about five minutes of anything due to his immense sensory + anxiety issues. I was pretty prepared of the possibility we may end up leaving right after arriving, but the office itself is so inviting. Noah immediately dove and dropped to his knees in front of the tiny little kitchen with the cute play food. Poor Bob his beloved Minion thrown and discarded beside him. I was able to speak with the lovely front office staff without any interruption or distraction. A Mom exhale, if you will. Whew! Our dental hygienist was named Lauren, and she was absolutely amazing with my son. She's a complete gem! Beyond actually! Noah wanted very little to do with me while Lauren was near. I was the one assigned to the receiving end of his frustrations of having to be somewhere he didn't want to be experiencing new sensations he didn't want to particularly experience. We all know that feeling. :) I'm pretty certain my adoptive Mom would confirm I did the same exact thing to her growing up. Lauren's voice is extraordinarily calming, so Noah was as relaxed as he's capable of being. She ever so kindly informed Noah of every single step prior to, introduced him to her tools "friends" plus asked Noah if he'd like to feel each one in the order of being utilized on his finger. Noah felt so relaxed and in complete control of the entire situation he was in. This is always of major importance to him. Lauren had Noah raising his hand for any breaks needed, allowing time to sneak in Minecraft moves on Mom's phone (oh how I tried to put it away), involving Bob the Minion in our appointment, redirecting kindly to Bluey playing on the tv on the ceiling and placing the phone down for just a second. I loved how she reminded him to take deep breaths (and we all did simultaneously together) during his cleaning. Dr. Patrick was just as amazing! Zero complaints from this Mom. Noah took to him instantaneously which is almost a no go every single time when it comes to a new adult especially a doctor of any kind. He's very apprehensive with new people in general for the exception of children. Dr. Patrick was so informative regarding Noah's teeth, gums, etc. He really allowed me to become so much more educated + knowledgeable when it comes to pediatric dentistry in general. Well, as much as a Mom brain can comprehend + retain. I didn't feel rushed at all with any questions or concerns. Dr. Patrick was extremely easy to talk to, and his demeanor was super down to earth. He really has a great vibe which is of major importance in my opinion. He's also very professional yet totally chill which is refreshing. I felt truly at ease as the patient's parent. I forgot to mention how well Noah did with the x-rays thanks to Lauren yet again! Phenomenal!!! We all know how bizarre it feels to bite down on that guard thingie. :) The office is so so so new inside. Oh, and may I add pristinely neat and clean. The interior designer I believe was from out of Oregon. I found it modern, cozy and interesting to take in. It's a very comfortable place to be. An absolute overall relaxed chill environment. This is very important to Noah. He's so observant + opinionated. The prize setup on the way out was a major hit!!! Noah picked out a squishy chocolate glazed donut with sprinkles (So presh!!!) and a sticker of Raya. He's still stoked about 24 hours later when it comes to his prizes. This office is very accommodating like I've never honestly experienced with Noah before or in my 45 years on this planet. I'd most definitely recommended Dr. Patrick and his staff of greatness to any special needs parent/grandparent/guardian that's reading this especially, but honestly anyone really that's looking for the best of the best with specific needs or tastes. If you're picky, go here!

The staff at Wash Park dentistry is incredible. Our daughter is a bit nervous and slow to trust and was able to connect and feel security with the dental experience. Dr Patrick and his staff really are skilled at so much more than dental ... their skill in supporting kiddos and understanding their unique needs is impressive and unmatched.
