Dr. Erene Iskander was born and raised in Egypt where she graduated from University of Alexandria where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. Dr. Iskander came to the United States in 2004 and attended New York University College of Dentistry where she obtained her second academic dental degree, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Iskander enjoys spending time with her husband, Ashraf, and three children in Clifton, Virginia. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Iskander enjoys reading and participating in church activities at St. Marks Church in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Iskander also gives back to her community by providing free dental care through the Saint Marks Hope Clinic in Fairfax.
A resident of Clifton, Virginia, Dr. Iskander became familiar with the Warrenton area while practicing dentistry in Culpeper from 2012 2015where she received the prestigious Heartland Presidents Dental Club award. When asked why she chose the Warrenton area to open her own practice, she stated that she found Warrenton to be such a warm, welcoming and family-friendly community and that she wanted to become a part of that. Dr. Iskander is looking to create long-term relationships with her patients, as well as their families.
When asked what she enjoys most about being a dentist, Dr. Iskander statedthat she loves being able to offer patients immediate visible results, and relief from pain. She also enjoys working with patients who are fearful of dentists and alleviating their fear before beginning any dental procedures. Dr. Iskander believes that fear of dentists usually comes from not understanding what the dentist is going to do, Dr. Iskander explains what she will be doing, then shows them so there are no surprises.
Cami, our treatment plan coordinator, is coming up on her 4 years working in the dental field. She enjoys being the first face that gets to greet our patients when they come through the doors of our office. She prides herself in being able to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible as if they are at sitting in their own home. Patient care and giving the top dental experience is what she strives for with our patients. Cami is married to her husband, Troy, for the last 23 years and has 2 children. Alyssa is 22 years old, Codi is 20 years old, and she has a granddaughter, Miller, who Cami loves to spend time with during her free time.

Dr. Iskander was very kind, informative and non-judgemental. Lisa, the hygienist, was so gentle and patient. If I knew going to the dentist was this pleasant, I would not have put it off for so long!

I've been to Amazing Smiles twice now and both times I had the dental hygienist Lisa. She is absolutely wonderful! She makes you feel comfortable, has a gentle touch, and will update you on everything she does throughout the entire procedure. I know I am in good hands with her. The ladies at the front desk are always cheerful and welcoming. Great experience!

Let me tell you, if you're looking for a new dentist? Go to this dental practice! The staff are outstanding! I've never been anywhere else that has such incredibly polite and honestly caring people! The doctor herself was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain and break down my dental x-ray and the work that needs to be done. And no need to worry about if the needle or any work needs to be done, I've already had 8 fillings done and I didn't feel any pain watsoever! This is the most professional dentist I've ever been to. I know most people don't like going to the dentist but, to be honest, I cannot wait to go back!

Amazing office staff. Very professional and courteous. Definitely made me feel comfortable. Also amazing with my daughter who has a very high dental anxiety yet she was able to get treatment with ease and said that she really likes that dentist and the assistant. Very unhappy used gps to go to location and wasn't correct so I called in to find out where the office is then I'm informed I have no appointment that it had been canceled??? I just made it last week and never canceled and she agreed with that it wasn't. So I decide to head home then after a bit she says come in I was already on my way back so I asked to reschedule and was supposed to be the next day then I get a response to be early next time? Well if I had no appointment how could I be late? I went by the reviews but I read that they give 5$ star bucks card for 5star rating. That can't be legal. Anyway I'm searching again for another dentist I'm just so over it all especially being in pain and they won't do anything until I'm seen in 10 days well it's 11 days still in pain I asked for a antibiotic for the swelling when I scheduled and something to help with the pain and said I had to be seen. Now I'm looking at who knows how long until I can get in while the infection gets worse. Definitely disappointing and very depressing.
