Dr Yang completed her Pediatric Dentistry Specialty training from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, and her doctoral degree from University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry. Dr Yang has extensive years of experiences not only in pediatric dentistry and hospital dentistry, but also in the dental research and academic communities. She stays at the forefront of pediatric dentistry by being an active contributor in dental research publications, book chapters, journal reviews, as well as learning the innovativ clinical approaches.
Dr Yang is the recipient of the prestigious UCSF Pediatric Dentistry Excellence in Dental Care of Pediatric Disabled Patient Award, awarded to only one recipient each year. Additionally, she is awarded numerous research awards from UCSF, USC, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She holds the UCSF Medical Center Hospital Privilege and is a Health Science Clinical Assistant Professor at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and UCSF School of Dentistry.
Dr Yang is an active member the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the International Association for Dental Research. She is board-certified and is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Community wise, Dr Yang serves as one of the five board members of the UCSF Pediatric Alumni Board of Directors, and as a committee member at the UCSF Children's Oral Health Research Center, the world renown research center dedicating to children's oral health.

My 2 years old son love there. He actually Afraid of seeing doctor but he loves go there to see the dentist. Every time they make it very fun for him and even give him some small toys. He loves it a lot. Dr. Johnathan is very kids friendly and extremely patience with my son, he made the entire cleaning and exams process very fun. I cannot say enough good words for them. Just go there.

It was a great experience, so happy with everything, from the first step in the office , they are so nice and professional. My daughter( 4 years)she hates going to dentist, so each visit since she was young it's starting and ending with a very bad screaming, all the nurses and doctors can't do their work and facing hard time with her.. When I did my search and found this office has a good reviews so I gave it a try . Dr. Jonathan is a professional in his work and explaining everything, also he has a great patience with the kids, I can say it is the first time that my daughter cleaned her teeth calmly, happily and she's looking forward to go again to see her doctor. He kept making her calm with a funny dialog with her and he turned her anxiety to a happy mood. Also my son( 11 years) was so happy in his experience too. Highly recommend him.

Wonderful experience for my 12 year old who hadn't been to the dentist for over two years given the pandemic. The doctor was very kind and patient and talked my son though the process every step of the way. I was anticipating anxiety but my son walked out with a big smile and a toy and goodie bag!

Dr. Jon and his staff are fantastic. Highly recommend, especially if you have a child anxious about the dentist or who have more complex dental needs.

Great waiting room to entertain the kids. Was able to get an appointment quickly and on a Saturday. Dr. Huang was great with my son. He didn't even cry once. Very informative.
