Dr. Cason T. Hundwas born on Hilton Head Island, SC and moved to James Island, SC when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Porter-Gaud School in Charleston. He earned a degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Life Sciences from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and graduated from MUSC College of Dental Medicine in 2013.

He and his wife Jessica, who is a Family Physician at MUSC Health Daniel Island, live in Mt. Pleasant where they are active members of their community and members at East Cooper Baptist Church. They have two sons,Hack andHenry, and a little girl, Hattie!

Dr. Hund volunteers at East Cooper Community Outreach and has volunteered his time to several other charitable efforts including Our Lady of Mercy Free Clinic, Dental Access Days, Give Kids a Smile Day, and The Charleston Free Clinic.

Samantha has been by Dr. Hunds side from the start! She has 8 years in dentistry, and continues to strive to make all patients feel comfortable during treatment. She has been a Charlestonian since birth.She is married to Jeremy, and they have 4 lovely children Molly, Kaden, Valerie, and Nolan.Outside of the office, animals hold a special place in her heart. She has 2 cats and 1 dog whom she loves dearly. She also enjoys watching movies, spending time with her family and being the best mom she can be!

Kristina comes to us directly from Mount Pleasant where she lives with her husband Justin, their daughter Maddy Rose, and their shorkie, Huckleberry. Kristina joined our practice in January 2016 in the front office. She goes above and beyond to serve our patients. Her transition to the dental industry saw her off to Hygiene School in 2017! When shes not brightening up smiles, she loves spending time on the boat with her husband, riding her beach cruiser, and enjoying her family.

Ashley was born in Fayetteville, NC but moved to Mount Pleasant in 1990. She graduated in 2008 with a B.S. degree in Physical Education/Health Promotion from the College of Charleston. While attending college she got her first exposure to the dental field while working for an oral surgeon as a dental assistant. In 2011 she went back to school in Florence, SC to complete the dental hygiene program at Florence Darlington Technical College, graduating in 2013. She and her husband Brian, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy have two boys Jackson, Mason and an English Bulldog name Bella!

Elle, a Charleston native, joined our practice in 2018 after graduating hygiene school. Her interest in dentistry stemmed from a mentorship through her church. She has always felt her calling was to help people and found her niche as a dental hygienist. When not caring for our patients, Elle enjoys playing golf, cooking and spending time with loved ones. Weare so thankful to have her on our team!

children Amiya, Finnley and a lab named Drake. Her Husband, Matt, is a Manager at Lowes in Mt.Pleasant. Heather comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer service andmedical billing. In her down time Heather likes to explore the outdoors, catch up on all the new Netflixshows and be with family.

Dr. Hund and his team believe your dental care should include ways to prevent future problems. We will start by looking at your risk of developing cavities and gum disease and then provide education, techniques and tools to lower your risk.

Dr. Hund's goal is to restore your mouth to health. He will do this by developing a thorough treatment plan individualized just for you that aligns with your ultimate smile goals and desires. Restoring your mouth to health may include getting you out of pain, cleaning your teeth, removing cavities and filling-in areas where you are missing teeth. Dr. Hund provides excellent care in all areas of dentistry including: tooth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants. When treatment needs require, Dr. Hund will also employ the help of local specialists in order to deliver the utmost quality of care to his patients.
