On 8/24/20, I took my daughter in for a consultation on getting her wisdom teeth pulled. The office requested that patients get there 15 minutes early. I got there 10 minutes early. The receptionist asked me if I had my completed paperwork with me. I honestly never received paperwork to fill out, but I recently moved so it could have been lost with the postal service. The receptionist closed the glass partisan & continued to talk about me & stated how sick of the patients excuses she was. She said she tells patients to come in 15 minutes early & they don't & miraculously they never received their paperwork. I repeat myself over & over & they never listen. I feel like I am talking to a brick wall". She went on & on & on, not giving up on it. She was saying this to her co-worker Angel. She has blonde straight hair about shoulder length & wears glasses. She is the first point of contact as soon as you get in the dr's office. I continued filling out my paperwork & a fax machine repairman came in. She told him abruptly "we close at 4pm & I told the lady that on the phone before you got here". I can't stress to you how rude she was. I returned the paperwork to her & I said " I think your comments were very unprofessional & I don't appreciate you talking about me thinking I can't hear you". She proceeded saying "you don't know the kind of day I had". I told her " I don't care what kind of day you had, you are unprofessional to talk about patients. I am in Human Resources & that isn't tolerated". She closed her glass window & Angel must have asked her about my comment because she stated "she heard my comments because the tv wasn't on". She wanted me to hear her comments because she was aggravated that I was 5 minutes late & I didn't have the paperwork(that I never received) with me. She wasn't expecting me to confront her about her comments though & call her out. She never apologized to me, she just shut her glass window when I told her she was unprofessional. I think she is very rude, unprofessional & obviously doesn't respect the Dr.'s practice. Not only was she rude to me but she was very rude to the repairman. She doesn't give a very good first impression to the patients that visit your office. If she treated me like this on my first visit, what else has she done? My daughter was nervous enough about getting her wisdom teeth pulled & then to be treated like this. My daughter said to me "gosh mom, are they going to be this mean to me when I get back there? Mom, please go back there with me when they call my name". Everyone else I spoke with was very pleasant & very professional, but she was totally ridiculous & I didn't appreciate her talking about me when I could clearly hear her comments. Thank you, Diana S. Portaszkiewicz

DENTAL PROVIDERS TREAT EACH PATIENT WITH THE UTMOST PROFESSIONAL CARE, NO MATTER IF YOU ARE A YOUNGSTER OR A SENIOR WHO MAY REQUIRE A LITTLE MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. The discomfort after having them removed was nothing terrible. Throughout my consultation, procedure, and follow up appointment, Dr.Waltz and his staff were incredible. They were professional, kind, and happy to help. They are able to answer any question you might have. I would go again if needed and would recommend Dr. Waltz to others.

What I like best about Dr. Waltz is he'll tell you exactly what the deal is: here's what's wrong, here's what I recommend and here is what I'm going to do. The news may not be exactly what you'd like to hear BUT he'll give it to you straight and the work is always top notch.

Oh my god!!!I was so SCARED walking in the day of surgery to remove all four or my wisdom teeth. But let me rest assure your mind. You are in the utmost care, professional, and AMAZING staff! They made me feel at ease. Also thank goodness for laughing gas and anesthesia. Made me forget about all my worries. . Procedure went smooth and my recovery was amazing! Some soreness with eating for the first 3days, nothing that Motrin can't handle. But after day 4-5 I was back to my self. Thanks again Dr.Waltz! Your the best!!

Dr waltz was very helpful in my wisdom teeth extraction. Placed the IV for sedation on the first try, numbed the area with some type of solution which helped ease the pain of the site. Great doctor , couldn't be more happy with my experience.

A 5 star experience ruined because I waited 2 months for my refund check after countless phone calls and unreturned voicemails. I received my insurance claim in the mail a week after my wisdom teeth removal-- what took so long for Waltz? Thankfully before my payment, I called my insurance to double check what I should be charged (based off of what insurance would cover) and was told I was being charged way too much. Their "estimate" could've had me waiting for even more money back on my refund had I not done my homework. I was originally getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed and only needed 2 out, so I paid double for the entire procedure and waited TWO MONTHS for my refund. Last phone call I was told the person in charge of processing refunds was on vacation. My response: for the past two months? A little ridiculous of a wait time to get MY money back. The only reason I'm rating any stars is because my procedure was performed flawlessly and the dental team provided great care during my nerve-filled day! As for the financial and customer service side of things... not a good experience and I will not be recommending this business to anyone paying for an expensive procedure. Not worth the hassle for what should have been a quick refund.

I've been thinking about how I want to post this all afternoon but I am so incredibly angry at the treatment my five-year-old son got today by Dr. Waltz at Waltz Oral Surgery center.. I can only assume that the reason that parents are not allowed in the treatment room when their minor children are having a procedure is because of the nasty way the doctor talks to them when they're coming out of anesthesia. I can very clearly hear my son crying for me as he woke up from anesthesia not knowing the doctor or the two nurses that were with him I'm sure he was scared and in pain I also heard the male voice in a very angry tone yell at my child continuously and tell him to "stop and knock it off." he could be the nicest guy in the world to other people all I know is what he showed me today and he smiled in my face when he opened the door and told me I could come back into the treatment room after scolding my frightened child. If you have no bedside manners working with children then maybe you should make your practice adult only.
