Dr. Walter F. Russo, a Milford native, began practicing in 1983 after graduating from the same school as his father and two siblings, the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He joined his father, Dr. Anthony J. Russo, who founded the practice in 1954, and worked alongside him until Dr. Anthony retired in 1994. The practice is located in his childhood home, at 85 Prospect St. in Milford, across from the waterfall and duck pond. He treats children and adults, offering services from A to Z, including bleaching, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, implants, crowns, bridges, removable partials and dentures.
Since 1985, Dr. Russo has served on the Education Council that designs and runs all the continuing education courses for the CT State Dental Association. He has participated in well over 1000 hours of continuing education during his career in order to provide the highest quality of care for his patients.
I am truly interested in the whole person, beyond their teeth, and attentively listen to understand a patients motivation and goals in seeking dental care. With honesty and integrity, I consistently give my best to customize an individuals treatment according to their wishes. My goal is to inform and provide appropriate treatment options according to the patients interest. I strive to do my very best because I sincerely find it meaningful to use my skills to help people and provide the kind of care we all want. I treat you as I would my family.
Most of Dr. Russos staff has worked with him for over 15 years. Between his 5 hygienists, they collectively have worked there for over 100 years! He and his team feel as though their patients are like family to them. They have seen 4 generations of many families in their practice and not only look forward to visiting with their patients, but keeping their oral health in check as well.
I want my patients to be happy with my work. My private practice has my name on the door and I take my reputation, accountability, and commitment to you very seriously. Maximum effort is applied to every phase of dental care delivered. Very close attention is paid to make sure I run on time, to make sure all dental work has an excellent fit, and to make sure every aspect of your experience at my office meets your satisfaction. I take pride in my work and promise to give my best effort for the benefit of each patient.

I've been with Dr. Russo for over 30 years. He is extremely skilled and always has my best interests at heart. He is honest and affordable. His assistant Lori is very efficient and compassionate. They make a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience.!

My family has used Dr Russo for many years and we've always valued his service and pragmatism...to the degree that following our move to the Boston area several years ago, we still travel back to Milford to have him and his team do our dental work! Highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Dr Walter Russo for over 45 years. He is very professional and caring. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Based on Prospect Street in Milford near City Hall across from the Red Cross building. Ample parking behind the office.

Dr. Russo is an excellent dentist. I have been seeing him since he removed my wisdom teeth 30 years ago. He is very skilled and patient focused. His office is comfortable and the staff treats patients like family. I have also had great experiences with the hygienists.

Everyone on staff here is top notch! Dr. Russo's manner with his patients is far superior to any medical professional, in any field, that I've ever met. Through generations of my family being patients, never once have we felt anything but honesty and integrity from the entire team.

I have been coming to Dr. Russo since I was a little kid and I won't go anywhere else. The office is dated, but clean and well kept. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. No one pushes unnecessary procedures and I never feel like the hygenist is rushing through my appointment.
