Dr. Walter A. Formby has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over 25 years! He earned his bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University before going on to the Baylor College of Dentistry for his dental degree, then completed a specialized post-graduate residency in orthodontics, as well as a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics, from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. His masters thesis Longitudinal Growth Changes in the Face from 18 to 42 Years was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Formby is a published author and an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.

Just past 11 years here at Formby Orthodontics!! This place is like home and our patients are like family. Our appointments are super quick but we manage to make it a fun experience at each visit.We have our selfie stand that our patients have full access to. It allows them to bring their friends and family to see their progress in treatment through Facebook and Instagram. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with the most amazing crew. We have such a blast here.Thanks Dr. Formby, for trusting me with your business and all that comes with it. Looking forward to many more years!

I have been interning with Dr. Formby and his incredible office staff and have had the best time! I am so grateful that the office allowed me and other students in my program to come in and shadow! Though out the past few weeks I have learned so much and really enjoyed getting to know the office peeps. Great place to get a great smile!!

I didn't get my braces here but they are super helpful! My teeth were starting to shift and they were able to make me a retainer and get them back to PERFECTION! Thank you guys so much! When my son needs braces in the future, THIS IS EXACTLY WHERE WE WILL BE COMING !

i literally love this orthodontist, Dr. Formby is really funny and i can tell he cares a lot about his patients. They are always super gentle and make me tell them if something hurts and i'm really sad that i won't be treated by them anymore cause we moved :(. Overall would recommend!

I currently have one daughter in treatment with Dr. Formby, and another one who will probably start at a later date. We love everyone here so much. The appointments are quick and always very thorough. My girls feel very comfortable with everyone, and never complain about having to go...which is a major win for me. Thanks guys for all you do, and always making us feel right at home.

Honestly, I could not be more pleased with this office. My oldest son just completed his treatment and we couldn't be happier with the results. The office staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The office itself is immaculate and very efficiently operated. I highly recommend Dr. Formby. We will use him for all of our kids.

We have had 4 kids go through treatment at Formby Orthodontics and our the last one (#5) is nearing the end of treatment. We have loved the staff and appreciated the excellent care that we have received. Several of our children have had quite complicated courses of treatment (both missing and extra teeth) and they all have absolutely beautiful smiles now. Dr. Formby was also super supportive as one of his beautiful creations was thoroughly traumatized during a sports injury. I highly recommend Formby Orthodontics to all my friends and would never take my kids anywhere else. Thank you, Formby Orthodontics, for all your many years of outstanding care!

I am an older patient that had my teeth straightened. I needed a new retainer and went to Dr. Fornby's office today. He and his staff are always friendly and efficient. I would recommend him to friends and family. Vicki Stewart

This office is a trick! They had a Plano office which is close to me when I started the treatment, but now they just closed the Plano location without letting us know ahead of time. When I called to make an appointment, they said you can find another orthodontist close to you, do not really care about you. However we have already paid everything to this office. What a joke.
