Dr. Walsh was born and raised near Pottsville, PA and graduated fromPottsville Area High School. He then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Albright College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Walsh received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.
After dental school, Dr. Walsh returned to Pennsylvania where he furthered his education with a general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Upon completion of this program, Dr. Walsh joined Dr. Kirchner's practice in 2006.
Dr. Walsh is active in organized dentistry as a member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association and is on the Board of Directors of the Lehigh Valley Dental Society. He also teaches as an attending dentist at the Lehigh Valley Health Network General Practice Residency.
Julie was born and raised in Allentown area and has lived in the Lehigh Valley all her life. She brings over ten years of experience as a receptionist to our practice. Her friendly face and warm greeting, whether in person or on the phone, make everyone feel welcome here. Out of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with family, and friends.
Gail, relocated to the Lehigh Valley when her husband's new job brought the family to the area. With a strongeducation and business background she started working in the practice part-time. As our Financial/Billing Coordinator, she assists patients with their various financial options. Whether Gail is helping a patient with a billing question, or dealing with an insurance company, her calm and pleasant demeanor shines through. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite activities are walking, knitting, and kayaking with her husband Don.
Edie is a graduate of Whitehall High School. She has been involved in dentistry for over 36 years. Graduating from LCCC in 1977 as a dental assistant, she practiced ingeneral dentistry and orthodontics until she started a family in 1985. In 1992 she graduated from NACC with a 3.97 GPA in dental hygiene. She has been with our practice since 1993, where she enjoys her career maintaining and educating her patients in dental health.
Edie is a member of the ADHA, PDHA, and LVDHA. She attends BVM Church in Northampton, PA. When she's not working, she enjoys spendingtime with her 2sons, granddaughter, Colstyn, grandson Kerriganand her dog, Bailey. Her favorite activities are reading, walking, and attending Redskins games. GO SKINS.
Judy, a native of New Jersey, relocated to Pennsylvania 20 years ago. Upon arrival to PA, she interned at this office and was then hired as Dr. Kirchner's full-time Chairside Assistant.After Dr.Kirchner's retirementJudy became a full-time assistant for Dr. Walsh. After graduating from Ferris High School she attended and graduated from the Dental Studies Institute of Fairfield, New Jersey. She also took the required courses and graduated from Lehigh Dental Assisting Institute. As a dedicated and patient focused assistant she attends continuing education courses, which allows her the opportunity to keep updated on the latest products and techniques available. Being fluent in spanish is also an asset to our spanish speaking patients.

I have been coming to Dr Walsh for years and am always happy with the staff and quality of service. They run on schedule with the hygienist who is wonderful. Dr Walsh then always comes in and gives an exam. They keep a watch on potential areas and have a strong integrity for only doing work that is necessary. There are many dentists who could learn from the way they run their practice!

Visiting Dr.Walsh's office has been my very FIRST EVER awesome Dental Experience. I have been to quite a few offices in my lifetime. From the front office staff, to the assistant, to Dr Walsh, I felt I was with a genuine caring, compassion, skilled professional team! They went above and beyond in helping my son get the help he needed and answers. He had a dental emergency and where others turned him away, Dr Walsh fit him in and then turned him over to an oral surgeon all in one motion. The unwavering dedication of the office staff, double teamed the phones to connect him to same day, 15 minutes later surgery for the wisdom removal. The overall experience was impressive and rarely seen in both the Dental & Medical profession today. I will be contacting this office for work I need to have done myself. I think I've finally found the BEST DENTIST in the Lehigh Valley! You are made to feel like a person, a friend, and not just a file or insurance card.
