An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I was there yesterday thinking I would need to have a tooth extracted. I have high anxiety. The people there treated me so great. Always talking to me so I can be a little calmer. They saved the tooth and I had a root canal which did not take log at all and will be back next week for a crown. I would highly recommend this establishment.

So this review is LONG overdue but better late than never. I just wanted to say that I was EXTREMELY satisfied and grateful for Dr. Pandoh and Elizabeth. I have been coming to this office for over two years and they have both been very helpful and patient with providing me care. They always answer my questions and assist with any concerns I may have. They are the reason I am constantly recommending this office. Great team!!

The staff are VERY friendly and patient! I'm not the easiest patient because of my gaging reflexes but they were so understanding. If you're not a fan of the dentist then definitely try Walnut Smiles.

My name is Adrian and I just wanted to say that I've been to my share of dentists, however I have yet to be treated the way I have at Walnut Smiles. Dr. Thakkar not only has wonderful bedside manners but went above and beyond my expectations for a pressing concern and unusual request for a temporary tooth before implant. I thought my request was not going to be satisfactory however she made it happen and even better than my expectations! If it wasn't for her and the lovely, kind staff, I'm not sure I'd be a happy client but I am Thank you again. Overall my experience has been a very pleasant one and I will not be a customer at any other dentistry, this is where I will forever be

Great customer service ! Friendly staff that walked me through the entire process and explained everything that would take place. My experience was great - and I hate going to the dentist! I was left with the impression that the staff really did care about me as a patient.

IF YOU HATE THE DENTIST YOU HAVE TO GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY. I came to this office after having a very scarring experience at another. I was terrified of the dentist for YEARS but this office has single handedly changed my view and feel for dental hygiene. They have done everything for me, from braces to root canals. It was not easy to gain my trust but with every procedure I was always treated with care, also received explanations and encouragement when I was worried. Every. Single. Member of their staff has been kind and caring. And if that doesn't convince you... I drive literally an hour round trip just to go to this office because they have truly earned my loyalty. Keep being great guys<3

I went to this place cause it was closest location to my place and I didn't think too much about just getting a regular cleaning. When I went them, the female dentist showed me X-rays, that I was between Stage II (moderate periodontitis) and Stage III (severe periodontitis). I asked about getting braces and was told that I needed deep cleaning before I could do that, so I said yes to getting a deep cleaning. It was PAINFUL, probably cause she failed to properly administer the anesthesia. My gums was BLEEDING all over the place. My insurance didn't cover the deep cleaning, so I had to pay out-of-pocket around $400. A few months later, I called my insurance to figure out exactly what my plans. They called this dental office and discovered that I was overcharged $72. They sent me a refund 3 weeks later. A week after that, I called for appointment again for a quick inspection cause I was feeling pain around my gum area. Whoever I called kept assuring me that this would be a 'free' visit so long as no work was done and I was only there for quick inspection. I go there and they say nothing is wrong with me. The problem here is that male dentist I talked to said that I only in between minor gingivitis to Stage I (early periodontitis). Maybe only my back teeth had Stage II and Stage III and my front teeth had Stage I. I don't know. Regardless, I was still charged $12 for the office visit despite no work being done. I find out later that deep cleaning isn't required before getting braces. A regular cleaning would have been enough. I am currently suffering from momentary pain from the gaps of space in between my teeth cause by my gum receding. Anyway, to summarize why I regret coming here: 1) Misinformation regarding the health of my gums (two dentists from the same office should be giving the same evaluation, not two conflicting evaluations) 2) Misinformation regarding the necessity of deep cleaning (wouldn't have happened if they hadn't misinformed about the health of my gum) 3) Overcharged for my cleaning (refunded, but even so, it should haven't happened in the first place) 4) Misinformation regarding my quick inspection (they're claiming the receptionist I talked to over the phone was a new employee) 5) Lastly, they tried to upsell me by offering to a special laser treatment that will get thoroughly get rid of harmful bacteria remaining in my gum, Gemini Diode Laser, I believe. This is as irrelevant was getting a special car paint coating for your car that only weeks 1 week before wearing off. Whatever bacteria this laser would have killed, would have returned within a matter of days from all of the food you eat, so the laser treatments is completely pointless. Update: Ok, maybe not entirely pointless. Turns out, you're suppose to disinfect your gum after a deep cleaning to avoid infection during the healing process. Think they failed to communicate the necessity cost of a oral cleansing after a deep cleaning * This one is debatable, but I believe my recent pains, pockets of space between the gumline and teeth (diastema), and gum recession are a side effects of that deep cleaning they gave me. In order to deep clean, they have to dig deep into my gums, cleaning out the existing plague, but creating an opening for infection by excessively cutting into my gums. That, or the fact that I have crowding teeth made it hard for me to clean in-between my teeth, leading to the gum infection and my current situation. There is a possibility that I'm falsely accusing this office for a problem that was of no fault of their own. I'm just in A LOT of pain right now and feel like ranting. Update: Turns out, this office had nothing to do with my current oral health problem. A recent blood test shows that I have vitamin D deficiency, leading to weak teeth, which leads to gum recession. As for the pain, it can be contribute to all of those random toothpaste and probiotics I took before I correctly identified the source of my pain.
