Drs. Barmby and Florencio have extensive training in treating numerous dental conditions such as:TMD-jaw joint and orofacial pain, maxillofacial rehabilitation from traumatic injuries, congential or birth anomalies to teeth, snoring and sleep disorders, and oral cancer reconstruction.
I have been a registered dental hygienist for over 25 years. I perform all aspects of comprehensive dental hygiene and enjoy bringing dental health to all our patients. I am committed to the high quality care that our office provides for all our patients. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, reading and spending time with my family.
I have 35+ years of experience in the dental field. It is with great pleasure that I joined Dr. Barmby and Dr. Frick. My many years of experience have allowed me to become proficient in all aspects of dentistry. During these many years, I have had the pleasure of meeting and helping patients with their dental care with a smile! In my spare time, I find great joy in being with my family and all of us traveling together.
I have been an assistant for the past 25 years. I graduated from DVC dental program in Pleasant Hill and have remained in the area. I joined the office of Dr. Barmby and Dr. Florencio and their highly experienced team in 2016. I take pride in taking care of patients and when needed will help with our Spanish speaking patients. In my spare time, I am a devoted soccer mom and wife. When time allows I enjoy traveling to Mexico to visit family.
Porcelain veneers can change the shape, color, length or width of your teeth. Veneers are a thin, semi-translucent laminate bonded to your teeth. While theyre not suitable for every patient, veneers are the most aesthetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions involving the front teeth, including diastemas (spaces between teeth); broken or chipped teeth; unsightly, stained, or washed-out fillings; permanently stained or discolored teeth that cant be bleached; or minor malpositioning of teeth.
There are many advantages to having porcelain veneers. One of those advantages is that the procedure is more conservative of precious tooth structure. Requiring less tooth preparation (drilling), the final result may last longer than less conservative measures.

After I having been turned away by two other dentists' offices, Walnut Creek Prosthodontics and Dental Implants office was up for the challenge. Beyond being extremely professional and pleasant Dr Sergio Florencio and the entire staff worked well together to take care of my needs. I could not recommend this Dentist office more strongly. Simply great people doing good work!

Thank you for a great appointment. Dr. Florencio is highly skilled and has eagle eyes, a calming demeanor, and a great sense of humor combined with superior knowledge and experience, I feel like I am in the best care anyone could ask for. The staff are always very friendly and helpful - Really enjoy my time during my appointments chatting and laughing with these amazing people in a beautiful atmosphere.

I was a new patient, and EVERYONE in the office was so professional. Dr Florencio was knowledgeable and very informative. The office has modern equipment and it has such a pleasant environment. Dr Florencio really loves what he does!! I had a great experience and will be coming back regularly. One of the best!!

The most professional and compassionate service I've ever experienced at a Dental office. As someone who has an irrational fear of going to the dentist the people here made me feel at ease and treated me as person and not just a patient. Whenever I was in pain they acknowledged and apologized every time. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barmby for at least 14 years & I've never regretted it in fact I'm so grateful that I am his patient. The technical staff is superb. Their work is so good that every time I hear a celebrity speaking on TV with a lisp that is easily identified as "I have poorly fitting dentures", I say out loud, "You need to meet with Dr. Barmby and let Chas make your dentures!" I have nothing but accolades for this staff.

It was a first visit, without knowledge of the extent of work to be done, so nerves were high. The staff and Dr. Barmby were outstanding! Clear explanations, courteous and professional manner. It was an excellent visit to a dentist! YES, I mean it - we walked away thinking, wow, that was great.
