This office is run with the precision of a Swiss watch. Other dentist's offices look like circuses by comparison. I think I've probably got high standards. If my kids need dental fillings and need to be sedated, I'm not taking chances. Other dentists in the area told me they either could not do sedated operations or they referred me to Children's Hospital's operating room. That would cost about $10,000 per visit. I don't know who can afford that. I've now brought my two boys to Walnut Creek a total of three times for sedated operations, plus regular cleaning appointments, and every visit has been flawless. The teamwork between Dr. Webber, Milenka, the delivery director, and the staff is like a military operation. The front desk personnel are organized, polite and efficient. My kids are always comfortable coming here as well. Sedated operations cost a few hundred dollars. We probably pass by about a dozen dentist's offices on the 20+ minute drive to Walnut Creek Pediatric Dentistry. I would recommend everyone else do the same for their kids.

My kids are always asking when the next time they "get to go to the dentist." As someone who personally fears the dentist due to horrible experiences as a child, I am so, SO thankful that Doctor Barry and his team have been so kind, understanding, gentle and caring to my kids. My boys have been going there for the last 6 years. When my boys were younger, we had a couple experiences where they were scared. Doctor Barry and his team NEVER pushed my boys. We tried to let them calm down and tried again but decided to try again on a different day or go through with sedation for fillings/crowns. I am so thankful that they not only think of the child's physical heath but their emotional health. They explain everything to the boys and make an attempt to really get to know them. I will not take them anywhere else.

Very disappointed in the way this office manages and keeps appointments. They called and cancelled my daughter's appointment which was no problem, I completely understand that things happen. So I took the next available slot they could give me which was well over a month later. Now.....2 days before her appointment (which they called and confirmed with me the week of) they have now called to cancel on me all together. At the time of the first appointment that got cancelled my daughter was 12 years old. Since then she turned 13 and they are telling me that they are no longer working with teens and she will need to go somewhere else. What kind of place is this? You don't flake on people like that. Had I known this I could have got my daughter in somewhere else over 2 months ago. This is not the way you run a business.

The way the handle bills is unacceptable. My ex-husband carried insurance, all bills were sent to him in his name and he took children to the appts. He never paid a bill, which I didn't know was due as all bills were sent to him and he took the kids to appointments. I only knew the bill was due when I received a collection letter in my name. I called and they said my name was on account as his wife and since I did not update my address or tell them we were divorced it's my fault. I now have a collection on my credit. How can someone who doesn't handle dental or bills, know a bill is due unless it is sent to them in their name not addressed to another person. One can not pay a bill that was never sent.

Very disappointed with our recent experience and will no longer be taking both my kids to them. The name states "pediatric dentistry" yet I do not feel they worked well with my children to help make them more comfortable and distract them during procesures. Dr. Webber did not bother to listen to my request and recommended we reschedule our cavity filling to another day and use light sedation. He stated we just don't have the time despite our appointment had began just 15 minutes before he decided it wouldn't happen. My daughter has had cavities filled in the past without any problems. I understand the concern of her having anxiety and making the procedure more difficult but she is a child. I don't agree with wanting to sedate a child just to make your job easier. Listen to your customers and to the parents of the child they know their children more than anyone. I'm looking forward to taking them to a different dentist who has amazing reviews and I've heard from friends and family he actually talks to his patients and makes them laugh/feel comfortable. Addendum: Thank you for your response. As a parent, I ultimately know what is best for my child and light sedation is not when I am confident that if she would have received adequate developmentally appropriate care she would have done just fine as other times. In regards to time, exactly my point, just 15 minutes past and you give up? My daughter was a bit fearful but we had applied jelly to her top and just needed to do so on the bottom but when you came to check she wasn't ready and then you mentioned due to timing we had to reschedule. No more trying. I appreciate your concern for her. As mentioned, more than anyone I want what is best for her and know that a different office (who will talk to their patients and not talk down) will make her feel more comfortable and light sedation won't be necessary.

As a mother who has been very careful about where I go during covid, Walnut Creek made me feel safe and comfortable during my visit. Every time we go it feels like see old friends and my daughter has such a great experience. The staff and dr are totally worth the 30 min drive we make there and back! Medical visits aren't always fun but this office goes above and beyond to make it so!

Their customer service, attention to detail and bedside manner have been lacking and today was the last straw when an employee not wearing a mask came near my 10 month old whose appointment it was. And not moving when I asked her for space. AFTER them rescheduling at the last minute 2 weeks in a row.

I cannot say enough about this office! Each staff member has gone above and beyond my expectations of a pediatric dental office!!! From ensuring my 10 year old stepdaughter is never worried and well informed about any treatments she's getting, to helping accommodate our crazy family dynamics with dad/step mom and her mom. Dr. Barry is fantastic and always make us feel comfortable that we're getting the best treatment possible!! Absolutely would recommend Walnut Creek Pediatric Dentistry!!
