He grew up here in Walnut Creek, graduating from Northgate High School. Dr. Eriksen graduated with a bachelors degree from the University of the Pacific and from the prestigious UOP Dental School in San Francisco. He maintains active affiliations with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. Dr. Eriksen is VLI trained in advanced cosmetic dentistry (Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies), and has earned a Fellowship with the World Clinical Laser & Imaging Institute.
He enjoys living and playing in Walnut Creek. He keeps busy with his 2 Australian Shepherd puppies, Bourbon and Posey. He and his family enjoy leisure time in the outdoors snow-skiing, water-skiing, camping, backpacking and gardening.

We offer emergency dentistry. Dr. Eriksen is dedicated to preserving the health of your teeth and knows that injury or sudden pain can occur at any time, and usually happens after regular office hours. Ask about our emergency service the next time you visit.

The best Dentist I've ever been to. So gentle and Patient,. Dr. Erickson has up-to-date equipment. Just had my teeth cleaned which is normally very painful. He was so gentle I absolutely recommend him hands-down for the most sophisticated dentistry and the most simple. Update to my prior review...honestly laser has changed my life ! Dr Eriksen is so good. Highly recommend. Just had teeth cleaned. Jessica was so gentle it was great.

Dr Steven Erickson is best! He used a laser to do my fillings. He is very patient, gentle, and uses all the state of the art tools for his office. Came to Dr. Eriksen and team on the recommendation of a friend 7 years ago. The entire team is fantastic and treatments are of the highest quality. Appreciate the friendly & flexible team. Update from 2020. Still an amazing dentist. Have never Thought of leaving. Visited during the pandemic and they were using more than necessary PPE to protect me and themselves. Update December 2020 had another cleaning and a crown repaired. As always Dr. Eriksen did a tremendous job and Janan is sweet and abundantly helpful. Thank you! Update March 2022 Returned to Dr. Eriksen and am very happy to see that they remain amazing. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist before coming to Walnut Creek Laser Dentistry. Keep up the amazing work.
