After spending part of his high school years in Michigan he completed his simultaneous degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics, at the University of California Berkeley, he continued his graduate work in Molecular Cell Biology. However, before the completion of his graduate work he was accepted into the Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Darvishzadeh is a long-term (17 years) member of the Contra Costa Dental Society and served in different capacities on the executive board as well as the Continuing Education Committee. He is a member of several study groups, as well as, actively participating as a volunteer in community based non-profit organizations. He has a non-profit oral health organization for children addressing the needs of children in the underserved area of the world outside of the U.S.
Dr. Darvishzadeh believes in the patient centered care, in which the primary goal is to educate the patient and treat the patient the way they would want and choose to be treated. That is why he treats each patient with the courtesy and respect that they deserve. His exceptional communication skills and chairside demeanor help him treat and care for even the most hesitant patients. In his free time Dr. Darvishzadeh enjoys biking, skiing, creating architectural gardens, cooking and spending quality time with his two children, wife and mother.

Look no further! This is the dentist you can count on for all your dental needs. Dr. Darvishzadeh is an amazing dentist. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest and super kind. You have options when it comes to the best care of your teeth. I'm a doctor and it's been so hard to find a good dentist. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this place. They even made room for me the same day when I had an urgent need. My whole family is coming here. Try this place out. You won't want another dentist.

Simple the best!!Crew is all warm and welcoming. Doctor Masood it's one of the best , professional, knowledgeable, patient, experienced and such amazing dentist . I'm so upset about them prices . I got deep cleaning and ask them how much will be my cost before go there and they said $ 488. Today I went there, they cleaned my half part of teeth, because they said it should be like that. I paid $488 just for half part of my all teeth. $488 just for half part ! It was super super expensive. I WILL NEVER GO THERE ANYMORE !!! NEVER

Best dental team I've had in my life. No, seriously. I'm moving out of state and the only thing I will miss about the Bay area is my dentist. They fixed my teeth in ways other dentists refused to. And super friendly! I got the Invisalign treatment and everything looks amazing. They taught me how to properly care for my teeth and recommended better products to help keep my dental hygiene superb. They even used child sized x-ray tools for my small mouth (sounds silly but OMG other dentists would force those giant squares into my gums and make me bleed, not these guys, they actually listen to your needs)10/10. 5/5. 11/10 I'm gonna miss you guys so much.

I first came to this office for myself. I was experiencing a lot of tooth pain in different areas and had no insurance. Dr Darvish and his staff quickly got me on their busy schedule and accommodated a payment plan for me. I called a few days later with more pain and they got me right in again. I also called for my 5 year old, who had a bad experience with a previous dentist. He was AMAZING with her and she was excited to go back. So happy to have found Walnut Creek Dental, I absolutely love him and his staff! Highly recommend them!!

Walnut Creek Dental, Dr. Darvish and his team are the best. Dr. Darvish takes time to understand the issues, explains the basis of findings, and the reasons for his recommended best treatment plan. The time he and the staff spend with each patient show how much they care. I have moved all my family as I completely trust their care to Dr. Darvish.
