An Ohio native, Dr. Pappas is the proud owner of two private, local dental practices. He splits his time between the offices and manages both with a patient-centered approach to comprehensive modern dental care. Dr. Pappas is passionate about continuing education and advancing his ever-evolving knowledge of the latest dental techniques, technologies, and products to ensure his patients receive the highest-quality clinical care possible.
Dr. Pappas attended The Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelors degree in Healthcare Management. He continued his education at The Ohio State University where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He graduated at the top of his dental school class and was selected as the recipient of the prestigious Veler Scholarship which is awarded to only one individual per class based on academic excellence, character, and integrity. Dr. Pappas is active in the Ohio Dental Association and has served in many leadership roles within the organization. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When hes not at work, Dr. Pappas enjoys his involvement in community activities, reading, running, playing basketball and golf, and spending time with his certified therapy dog a golden retriever named Roscoe.
Dr. Lydic is passionate about dentistry and providing consistent, effective comprehensive modern dental care to her patients. Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Lydic has always stayed current on the latest advancements in dentistry. Shes used her skills, knowledge, and friendly chairside manner to build Walnut Creek Dental East into the highly respected practice that it is today.
For many years, Dr. Lydics philosophy has been to provide timely, reliable, effective, high-quality dental services in a friendly, professional environment while fostering an atmosphere of support, mutual respect, and a commitment to and from the entire Walnut Creek Dental East team. She dependably delivers the highest standard of care, and she looks forward to meeting new patients.
Dr. Lydic is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and she is a member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association. She has three children and an adorable dog named Maisy. When shes not in the office, she can be found spending time with her family.
Dr. Whittaker grew up in Columbus where he received his B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University. He went on to receive his D.D.S. from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and will always be a huge buckeyes fan. A member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and W.D. Miller Dental Society, Dr. Whittaker has undergone oral sedation training through the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton and enjoys making patients feel completely relaxed while undergoing everything from simple fillings to wisdom tooth removal.
In his spare time he loves to lift weights, spend time outside with his wife and daughter, and plays just about every sport. Dr. Whittaker has a deep appreciation for the technical and scientific aspects of dentistry but believes patient comfort and satisfaction should always come first.
Dr. Colles is from Dublin and is a tried and trued Buckeye, receiving both her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Sciences and Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from The Ohio State University. She then spent a year in Youngstown furthering her skills and caring for patients needing both emergency and routine dental care at a Level I trauma center, St. Elizabeths Youngstown Hospital. Dr. Colles is very committed to her patients oral heal goals and is a current member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Colles enjoys lifting weights at the gym, spending time outside in the park with her rambunctious Golden Retriever named Rogan and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Both my parents go here and gave rave reviews. It was ok. The staff was pretty nice. If you want a more intimate dental experience I would go elsewhere.They are pretty busy and kind of noisy. I got a quote for some services. I may or may not get it done here.

Avoid this place. My girlfriend felt intimidated, her dentist told her she HAD to get the $3,000+ work and claimed he wouldn't do anything less because it was "unethical." We went to another dentist in Reynoldsburg for a second opinion and received amazing treatment there. This guy's the reason people don't trust Dentists. Edit: Response to owner: After changing the review twice I'm not sure how you guys know who my girlfriend is, since I've never said her name. But much better response than previous.

I would recommend this office. They have the best attitudes from the front office all the way to your dentist. They are friendly and professional. I broke my tooth and they helped fit me in the same day to take care of it.

This was my first visit to this office for a cleaning and x-rays. It was surprisingly a pleasant experience. Getting dental x-rays is always traumatic for me. The technician did a tremendous job at marking it tolerable for me. I would highly recommend them.

I've been coming here for years and usually have just the best experience, however, this time around was a little different. I received a filling in one of my teeth, and when I had mentioned that I didn't feel like I was numbed up all the way I was just told to let them know if I feel anything which I immediately did, which was vwry painful, and had to be numbed again. When I got home I was in so much pain, but I didn't receive any aftercare instructions, so I took some ibuprofen which helped, and put an ice bag against my jaw. I couldn't eat solids because I could not even open wide so I had soup. Though the pain has lessened I still feel it, and for me this is unusual as I normally don't feel the pain that I did after A simple procedure like that. I will so continue to come here though as my past experience has been nothing but great, bu this time around was just a little concerning.

I must say every experience I've had at a Dentist was awful until now. I give them an A+ on explaining everything that was going on. The staff was very friendly and the hygienist that worked on my teeth was awesome. I wish more was like her.

I have been going to Walnut Creek dental for several years now and have been getting great treatment from the staff as well of the dentist themselves. It is very welcoming when people know your name when you walk into the door. I have recommended several people with their families to Walnut Creek and they all go there now
