In 1999, she moved to Dallas to pursue her dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. By graduation, she had maintained a position on the Deans Honor List all four years, was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and received the ADS Academic Achievement Award. During this time, she became passionate about the field of orthodontics and went on to complete the Baylor College of Dentistry orthodontics residency program and masters degree in 2005. Dr. Kanabar started Walnut Central Orthodontics from scratch in 2008, and has continued to experience tremendous growth and recognition in the field of orthodontics in DFW.
In her free time, Dr. Kanabar enjoys weight-lifting, cycling, playing the piano, and spending quality time with family and friends. She has been happily married since 1998 to her husband Beej, and they have 2 children, Sohum and Aria, who attend Alcuin School in Dallas.
Dr. Kanabars goal is to lead an orthodontic practice that excels at providing lasting results using the most efficient and high tech methods in Orthodontics. She is grateful for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with you and your families through the years to come.
Dr. Judy Choi was born and raised in Philadelphia. Upon graduating from Boston College, she pursued dental school at University of Pennsylvania, and then went on to complete her orthodontics residency at University of California San Francisco.

They pride themselves instill having the first three team members (Jess, Abel, and Suzie) from day one in 2008 when Dr. Kanabar and her husband Beej built the office from scratch. More importantly, they work together flawlessly and that is not an easy thing to find anywhere. Beej, the business manager has an extensive background with a Law degree from the UK, MBA from UT Dallas, a CFP holder with 10 years in Financial Planning with Merrill Lynch. He makes running the office so efficient that it allows the doctors to focus on what they do best versus getting bogged down with the running of the office.

Dr. Kanabar and staff (Livia, Holly, Lacy, Destiny, Misty to name a few) and ALL of the other ladies here have seriously made an impact on me as I go through the Invisalign treatment. They provide friendly quality service, and make sure to ask me how am I doing and feeling each time I have a visit. I feel as though we are all working toward one central goal of getting my teeth absolutely perfect! They truly have made me feel cared for through the past year and a half. Love love love this team and would highly recommend.

WCO presented me with a comprehensive plan to correct my son's overbite and I couldn't be any happier with the outcome so far! With my son being nine years old I assumed he would be a difficult patient, but WCO's members did ensuring to make him feel at ease. They even had a charging cord on hand for his iPad when it needed charging. KUDOS!!!

Amazing experience for my lengthy Invisalign treatment. Had to adjust teeth and Dr. Kanabar did a good job. Also great staff, getting appointments and low wait times!

Walnut Central Orthodontics has a great scheduling system and affordable monthly payments for Invisalign. Unfortunately, that is where the pros end. I find that both Dr Choi and Kanabar did not listen to my concerns until I mentioned it three times. On top of this, I find their expertise in Invisalign to be lacking as it took 3 attempts to correct my bite and they still have not corrected my bite. Prior to receiving their treatment, I was able to have 4 points of contact with my teeth when I bite down. For the last two years of treatment, only one point will contact when I bite down. This has been super annoying since I now have to chew food in a certain way for the last two years. I have repeatedly told them this and they have not resolved this issue after 3 sets of Invisalign aligners. Everyone at WCO has been kind but that does not make up for the failed promises and neglect of patient concerns. Especially since I paid $6000+ and dedicated two years of wearing and maintaining my aligners.
