Personal Dr. Laizure loves fellowship in the outdoors spending time afield with good people whose companionship he values. This is exactly what Dr. Laizure appreciates most during his free time. You will often find him jetting off to Mexico for fishing excursions, hiking into the Blue Mountains during the fall hunting season or exploring the beauty of the American West.

Dr. Sam, a native of New Mexico, did his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico. In 1974, Dr. Sam applied and was accepted to the University of Oregon Health Science Center School of Dentistry. It was there that Dr. Sam met Dr. Laizure.

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Sam enlisted in the United States Navy as a dental officer and was stationed at Sand Point Naval Air Station. Three years later, upon completion of his military obligation, Dr. Sam opened his dental practice in the town of Duvall, Washington. Dr. Sam was the first dentist in that small town you might say that he was a pioneer. The small town needed a good dentist who could provide the care they needed.

During his life as a dentist, Dr. Sam developed an interest in the art of winemaking. Little did he know that this hobby would become his retirement lifestyle. After 35 years of dentistry, Dr. Sam sold his practice, and he and his wife, Deborah, moved to Walla Walla, where his winery is located. Dr. Sam spends the majority of his time working at the winery. When he is not there, he is here practicing dentistry with Dr. Laizure.

Dr. Sam comes to Walla Walla Dental Care with vast experience in all aspects of dentistry. He is well versed in cosmetic dentistry, implantology (i.e., dental implants), endodontics, crowns, bridges, removable dentures and orthodontics.

In the dental field, Dr. Sam has undergone extensive training in the field of orthodontics. Creating long-lasting, beautiful smiles through orthodontics is a very rewarding treatment for his patients. Being able to offer this to our patients makes Walla Walla Dental Care an excellent place for complete and comprehensive dentistry.

To say that our team at Walla Walla Dental Care cares about our patients is an understatement. I have always been treated well at WW Dental Care by Dr. Laizure and the staff. At 81 years of age, I'd have to say he's the best dentist I've been to.

I want to tell my experience from the beginning without taking too much time lol... I have had a few bad experiences with dentist, so I have been fearful of going in to see any dentist. But Dr Laizure is so absolutely good at his profession that I thank God for bringing Heather into the store I work at, and somehow my dental issues were brought up and she just so happens to be the office manager at WW Dental, she said to go see them at WW Dental. So now I am on my way to a better smile. I can tell you that I have all confidence in Dr Laizure and the staff there at WW Dental, and would tell anyone fearful of the dentist to go see Dr Laizure because he is so kind, caring, and most importantly he KNOWS what he's doing. There should be a ten star rating because that's what I would have given them..

Rude and untrained staff don't know how to bill. When you try to work out and even offer to do the billing for them they become even abusive and intolerant. They are dishonest, make false claims against you and when the doctor is asked to resolve he is as bad as the staff. This is a horrible business, dentist and human being who designed to bill inaccurately and cheat my spouse out of the reimbursement she is entitled to by their deceit and deception. Taking advantage of a poor disabled woman living on very little. Sorry POS.

The Dentist is very detailed to the point that you feel like he is just taking advantage of your insurance. However, it does give you peace of mind that he is looking at everything possibly wrong with your teeth. What I don't like about this office is the fact that you call for a cleaning and instead of giving you a cleaning, they take x-rays to the point of making you glow, and color pictures for your viewing. This would have been nice if they then did the cleaning, but they just ended your appointment then, and made you reschedule for a cleaning. Also, they send you a bill for any procedure they do before you even go into the appointment, and expect the money the day you come into the appointment. THIS is a bad business practice that labels all patients as unreliable before you even do anything wrong.
