Dr. Lauren A. Leach was born and raised in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She began her early education at Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas, LA where she graduated high school. Dr. Leach then continued her education by attending Louisiana State University and graduating with a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. Upon graduation, Dr. Leach attended LSU School of Dentistry where she received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2008. Following in her father and grandfathers footsteps, Dr. Lauren A. Leach is a third generation dentist.
Dr. Leach is a proud member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Louisiana Dental Association. She has successfully completed the CITA clinical dental licensure examination as well as the DOCS Education Course for Oral Sedation Dentistry.
Dr. Leach now resides with her husband William D. Leach, attorney at law, their sons Ryan and Kyle, and their golden-doodle Lady Beignet in Denham Springs, LA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and serving as an active leader at Healing Place Church. Her other interests include reading, tennis, working out, and running.

This dentist wanted to pull all of my teeth for dentures. I've been to two other dentist since and they were shocked that she told me this. Horrible place.

My family loves WFD! We love going to the dentist because of the compassionate treatment we all receive. The dental hygienists and Dr. Leach are so incredibly kind and knowledgeable!

i've had plenty of dental work but never had such a bad experience with a dentist. did a root canal on my front tooth and after putting on 2 temps and 1final crown she still didn't do the procedure we agreed on. i have never cried from the dentist and the staff dosent listen to you. you said you wanted to give me a beautiful smile and i trusted you and went back but now i have even more tooth issues from you and don't even have the confidence to smile anymore. if you want to spend all your money getting fake teeth go here but if you want someone who cares about your teeth and dosent want to ruin the others in the process i suggest going somewhere else.:/

Everyone is friendly but. The first time I went she didn't feel comfortable pulling a tooth so she recommended me else where. 2nd time I went they wanted to prescribe me Valium to calm my nerves cuz my bp was 150/78. And didn't want to pull the tooth till they were "calm". I've never had any issues with dental work. I've had to go else where with no issues. If you're on a budget and time frame for work make sure your bp is normal or she won't pull it. She's very sweet but makes me feel she's not comfortable pulling a tooth as this is the second time I've went and wasted time and money. Will be taking my services somewhere else

I went into Walker Family Dentistry with severe toothache. I have a lot of health issues and no other dentist would have the time of day to even see or look at my tooth. I went into Dr Lauren Leach's office cause I couldn't take the pain anymore. I was to the point when air hit the tooth , or eating would send a shocking pain to my ear , it caused my ear to hurt. I have tried everything from oral gel and tea bags nothing helped. Dr Leach saw me same day gave me some antibiotics to get the infection down. I had to go see an oral surgeron cause of my medical history but that was fine. The antibiotics helped me out so much until I got the tooth extracted. The office staff were very friendly and Dr Leach was the sweetest, most honest dentist in town. I would recommend her to anyone from now on.

Caused pain and her "work" resulted in additional $6,000 worth of work to be done. They also misplaced my husband's crown. Do not go!

Absolutely the best place I have been to for treatment! Dr. Leach is a wonderful Christian lady and they even play Christian music in their office ( cant say that about too many places now)! Although Dentistry can be intimidating, this place puts you at ease! If you're in the area and want a dentist you can trust, give this place a chance.

She has done extensive work on my husbands teeth and is always available with any concerns or needs we have. She takes care of all of our insurance needs/issues and her team is amazing!!

Left large gaps in my teeth from fillings. Pretty much did half a job. Lack integrity and have also cause a bunch of problems in my wifes mouth which now we have to spend 4-6k to fix her teeth. Additionally the staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Everytime I was in there it seemed as if I was an inconvenience to them. They said they would work with my wife to fix her issue then notice she left a bad review before they talked to her and never gave her the opportunity to take it down and decided that they should cut ties being that they messed her teeth up ,(their words). If I could leave a lower review than 1 star I would. There are many aspects that make a business and as far as I'm concerned they have failed at all of them.

I have ALWAYS had anxiety regarding dentists from past bad experiences. Dr. Lauren Leach and her staff are AMAZING. They understood my worries and have gone above and beyond to put me at ease. I would recommend them to anyone! They are truly wonderful.

I have been going to walker family dentist ever since they opened. I have always been pleased with her work. Dr Lauren is a good christian woman. Everyone is so nice and attentive to all my needs.

I've been there a few times so far, and can happily say I don't dread the dentist's office anymore. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They really look out for you not only with cleaning and checkups but also preventative measures.
