Dr. Christopher Carlson grew up in southern Arizona among thelarge saguaro cacti.He traveled to the state of Nebraska tocomplete his undergraduate education at Creighton Universitywhere he met his wife, Rachel. The pair then moved toColoradowhere Christopher earned his doctorate degree at the Universityof Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Because providingoptimal care to his patientswas a top priority for Dr. Carlson, hecompleted a year of general hospital residency at the University ofWashington where he expanded his skill set working on advanceddental and surgical cases. Having experience working in achallenging hospital setting has allowed Dr. Carlson to workquickly and efficiently to help patients achieve their dental goals.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Carlson and Rachel enjoy outdooractivities such as hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. They love to try new restaurants and are always open to new suggestions. Although Dr. Carlson comes from the sunny desertheat, he thoroughly enjoys the Pacific Northwest and all thevarying climates.
Dr. Nicole Ters recently moved to Washington from Big Island, Hawaii. She spent two years there, completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry and serving the community in a public health clinic. Dr. Ters learned a lot about patient care during her residency and she always makes the safety and comfort of her patients a priority.

They are excited about what they are doing, have high standards of quality and integrity, and are motivated to achieve the best results for our family of patients.
Dr. Jonathan Walker has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Puyallupsince 2009. Hewas born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. Hereceived his bachelor's degree in biology from Brigham YoungUniversity-Idaho, and received his doctorate degree from CaseWestern Reserve University School of Dental Medicine inCleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Walker and his wife Caprice, a local NW beauty fromEdgewood, met in undergrad and decided to settle in Puyallup toraise their family of five boys. Dr. Walker enjoys working out,running, competing in Spartan obstacle races, playing piano andsaxophone, and spending time with his family.
In 2015, Dr. Walker founded Walker Family Dental on South Hilland is dedicated to serving patients with the best care, honesty,and a little fun. He is a member of the Pierce County DentalSociety and the American Dental Association.

These guys are awesome they made me feel very comfortable and they seem to really care about me and my dental health i think it's cool that they try to get you in and out as quick as possible as well, again I am very glad that I went there for my dental needs. Todd P

Compassionately handle extreme sensitivity to pain w/skilled hands, ive been helped by each dentist in this group.I have a very hard time getting and staying numb.I count myself fortunate blessed lucky and so thankful for this group.Every single person I've ever worked with there has made me feel safe.And the care workers and dentists feel to me as craftspersons who seem to enjoy optimizing the experience for their patient. It's nice to really trust someone when they are drilling into the bones of your mouth. as vulnerable feeling as that is for me, as it can be difficult to get and stay numb, but they are wantingto find a way to make things work, their diligence and caring help always leave me feeling like maybe humans are redeemable after all, because they find a way to get that technical part accomplished and done well,, compassionately and their sincerity is genuine and truly comforting

This is the best dentist office I have ever gone too. I can't say enough good things ! Today I had a dentist that subs sometimes when they are busy and it was the best cavity fillings I have ever had. They were difficult cavities way in the back I was dreading it , not only did they complete my appointment early I didn't get that sting feeling from the nova Caime. When I was pregnant they took extra precautions to make sure my x rays and fillings were done properly as not to interfere . I also had a root canal by Dr. Carlson and he did an incredible job I hardly felt any pain . This is place I actually enjoy going the conversation is always enjoyable if you've ever thought you could say that about a dentist office. The only downfall is sometimes I have to wait a month for an appointment but I found out yesterday that actually isn't true, I mentioned I was having some pain and wasn't scheduled until a month away and they got me in the next morning at 8am. Very considerate I will never go anywhere else. .

I had finally had enough of the "puppy mill" dentist offices where you never saw the same dentist twice. Drive past Dr Walker's office every day so and my wife decided to call and check if our insurance was accepted. After her call she told me I needed to call. The lady that answered the phone (forget her name) was super nice and helpful. She looked up my insurance, got me all registered in the system and set me up for an appointment that afternoon. First impression on walking in was "this place is nice". Great lobby, receptionist was cheery and made me feel welcomed. Within 5 min Belle (dental assistant) came and took me back. She was so nice and professional. She had to take a full set of xrays and did so quickly and painlessly (not an easy task). Then Patti the hygienist came in to start on the cleaning. Unbelievablely pleasant- even when she busted on me for not flossing as much as I should it wasn't in a scolding manner but more in the advice from a friend way. After she was finished I met Dr. Walker. He sat down and went through my xrays with me in detail. He spent more time discussing my dental health with me than any dentist before. I appreciated him explaining what he saw ensuring that I understood. It has only been 1 visit but as someone who has had a lot of dental work and different providers- Dr Walker is top notch and I highly recommend.

Pam did my last two cleanings and is so gentle and throughout that I almost fell asleep. And Emily at the front desk makes scheduling so easy and hassle free. They work with my schedule even though I would happy to wait to get in because they make me feel like they really care about my dental health and comfort. I would recommend them to family and friend but am afraid if word get out how great this dentist is everyone will want to get their dental work done here. Lol.

Best dentist ever!!! I first went here to get crowns for my implants and was recommended by my oral surgeon (Dr. Chacon Guillermo). Dr. Walker was the one that put my implant crowns on and he was fantastic! He was EXTREMELY thorough to make sure they fit perfect and looked amazing! I know there are some dentists that squeeze every penny out of you but this is not one of them! The whole team is very friendly, kind and outgoing. I added photos of my implant posts before the crowns (done by Dr. Chacon, not at Walker Dental. The crowns were done by Dr. Walker. I included the before and after so you can see the incredible job Dr. Walker did!!) It's a 45/50 minute drive for me but I now go here regularly for my dental cleanings, my husband as well and we love it
