She attended East Carolina University andreceived a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to attend dental schoolat the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, shemoved to South Carolina where her husband, Dr. Wes Waldrep, was attendingdental school while she worked in the private sector.
After earning his degree,they moved to Columbia, SC, where she took a job working for the US Army at FortJackson, SC. She spent the next 4 years at Fort Jackson, SC, providing care for Armysoldiers. In 2013, her dream came true when the Waldreps took over a privategeneral dentistry practice in Boone, NC near where she grew up. Her hobbiesinclude traveling and a variety of craft projects including scrapbooking, sewing, andhome projects.
