I recently changed insurances and was referred here. My experience was pleasant. I was able to go during my lunch break for a cleaning and was in and out. The dentist was very gentle. Also the staff was pleasant. I highly recommend.

Dr. Shumate and his staff does an excellent job providing my family's dental care. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. I appreciate how he takes a few extra minutes to speak with my kids about college, asks about their goals, and gives advice. He's not only a Dentists, but a mentor, and a role model! He won me over by speaking highly of Veterans. It's a pleasant visit every time we go.

Today I had my first visit at Waldorf Dental Care. I must say it was THE BEST dental appointment I have ever had. I've been to other dentists but I was totally blown away here. The office environment is very clean, yet warm and cozy. The temperature was just perfect. The dental chair surprised me as it massaged my back while Dr. Shumate cleaned my teeth. Best of all, he has excellent "bedside" manners. He is very professional yet friendly. He has a gentle way of cleaning the teeth...no tugging and yanking. The water temperature he used was very comfortable...not cold as I've dealt with at past dental offices. And the sounds from the equipment didn't grate or pierce my ears. I was COMPLETELY comfortable. I truly look forward to my 6-month checkup!!! Thank you Dr. Shumate!! See you in 6 months!!

Now, I am the biggest 42 yr old baby in in the world but I loved going to my dental appointment. From Tony in the front, to Alexis, and that Angel Dental Assistant that cut the massage chair on, and knew just when to jump right in when I was in pain. Thank You! I don't have to tell you about Dr.Mcdreamy! Y'all we are blessed to have such a respectful practice in our community! Oh, and the music is on the money! Very soothing! GOD BLESS, and I cannot tell you how confident I feel knowing that I am in your hands!

I received excellent service from start to finish. I had a hole in my tooth and called on a Wednesday to schedule the earliest possible appointment and Monday was the best they could do at the time. Someone cancelled and the office called to see if I was able to come in on Friday which allowed me to have the issue taken care of before the weekend. The office was Covid-cleaned. The environment was professional and Dr. Shumate is informative and highly skilled in what he does. I am pleased with the service and the care.

I left feeling very confused and not very comfortable with the visit and it was only a cleaning. My cleaning was done very quickly which has never been the case at any of my past dentist appointments with other doctors. He didn't seem very concerned nor did it feel as if he was paying attention to me or my needs as a patient. It felt very rushed and I don't feel like I got the care I deserved. I had to wait to be seen at 11:00 for my 9:30 appointment. It felt very rushed and I don't feel like I got the care I deserved.

I have been going to Dr. Shumate for a couple of years and I love my dentist. I just got my teeth cleaned and the receptionists are always nice and professional. I never have to wait longer than 5-10 minutes after my appointment time which is expected. Dr. Shumate is very attentive to my dental needs and complaints. He explains my issues very clear and makes sure my needs are taken care of. He is very professional and nice and seems to really care about his patients. I have been to several dentist in my life but Dr. Shumate is by far the best. My daughter is also a patient here so I think I have found my forever family dentist.

Dr. Shumate has been my dentist for a little over a year. His dentistry was recommended by my employer. The customer service, hospitality and dental service is amazing. The office space is clean, staff are professional (I love Ms.Tony) and he's truly accommodating and does an amazing job!! Dr. Shumate takes intentional care and caution, which I appreciate. The whole office vibe (music and massage chair) is an experience which are a direct reflection of his personality!! Truly a blessing, I highly recommend Waldorf Dental.

I drove fourth-five minutes to the office and was informed that I had called and canceled our appointments while someone from the office called me the morning of the appointment to confirm our appointments. I was then told there was a mixup. We were asked to wait in the lobby of the office and someone would be with us. After waiting we decided to leave. Will NEVER return. Unprofessional!

We've been going to Waldorf Dental Care for 4+ years. The office is always clean and inviting and the staff are always friendly and professional. Dr. Shumate is personable and takes time in getting to know his patients. I've never had anything but a great experience here.

He's unprofessional doesn't know how to talk to people. Has bad breath belittles his staff and I think he verbally harasses his employees. He shows favoritism to his staff and employees. Do not recommend.

Horrible person to work for. He has a terrible attitude. Verbally abusive. Has no consideration for employees. Just impeccably rude and untrustworthy. Show's favoritism. A lot of the stuff he says & does is contradictory to his own policies. Would not recommend as an employee. I regret working here it was a complete waste of my time.
