Meet Dr. Ashworth! Dr. Ashworth enjoys the artistic challenge of cosmetic cases and seeing the immediate relief provided by surgical cases. Dr. Ashworth enjoys camping, hiking, and being outdoors. He is currently accepting new patients in Kansas City and surrounding areas.

This dental group has terrible patient service. They are rude and incompetent, and take advantage of elderly patients.

You're just a number here. It doesn't matter if you've spent hundreds of dollars with them they just look for the quick dollar. I called first thing in the morning (no one answered) so I called back at 10:30am to cancel a 5pm because a conflict that came up. They are charging me $35 to cancel the appointment. I told them they can charge me the $35 dollars but they just lost a patient. They didn't care at all. I have had over 5 appointments with this office and never missed one or was late. Hope that $35 makes up for the rest of the money they would have made off me over a lifetime and any referrals I would have given.

They canceled my appointment the day of because they couldn't verify my insurance;after I took the day off work. It took me 5 minutes to check my insurance status, not the 2 weeks I was getting verification notices from them.So naturally I fired the office out of anger due to their incompency.Weeks later I set a appointment with them thinking everything was fine.Today I was called and they canceled my appointment because of me firing them.Why would they set a appointment if I was "inactive"?This office staff is completely incompetent and totally unprofessional and not concerned about the problem I have with them.

0/10 do not recommend! The office staff called when I was out of town to confirm appointment and I didn't have my dental card on me. I let them know I could call Monday AM with the information (before my appointment). Instead of allowing me to call back with info they cancelled my appointment via text. I will not go back and will find another dentist. This would have been my second visit and I was going back to reevaluate if I wanted to keep them (being new to KC). During first visit the office and facility was run down, office staff were rude and equipment was broken. No big loss that I am needing to find a new dentist.

THEY SHOULDN'T GET A STAR. I'm so disappointed. It's digesting how I am being treated. No one has called back to address my concerns. I'm baffled. I've never been treated this way in my life. The person that is handling my account for billing seems to have a problem with me. You'd think billing would be handled differently and with a sense of urgency. I am thankful to not have a balance with this company. However I have questions and concerns and still need to complete service per the dentist it's important to get your crown on. You don't want to wait because your tooth might break. What happens then? While I'm waiting for this lady to not have a change of heart. This is really unfortunate I've done nothing to her but ask questions to try to understand. I spoken with my insurance company twice just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding. I've concluded that my concerns are valid. Update: I've received the call back. And was able to review my account billing with a very nice woman who listened to my full story and reviewed my account in its entirety. I'm a little hesitant to move forward with service given the history of the last 3 months but it needs to be done. And she advised she would thoroughly notate my account. Update: Went to appointment was told 3 different amounts upon arrival was advised 640. Then after reviewing notes 105. And after waiting 160. "But could still get another bill for balance" then I was advised 105 was approved then my card was charged I stressed to them I need something in writing. Then was advised "just to be on the safe side we will refund your card and look into it further". This has been a 3 month saga. Unbelievable. Was told I won't be charged a cancellation fee. I don't even trust that. Update: I received a call back from the office saying that 105 is confirmed asking when I'd like to come from an appointment. No apology the whole 3 months of telling me a different amount. I'm thankful that they now have the correct information but geesh...I don't think they understand the amount of stress and anxiety they've put me through. No one should ever have to go through this. I was hung up on(told I was yelling) when the whole entire time I've only been trying to get someone to listen to me explain the 105 I knew I would owe or for someone to explain why I would owe 640 without getting frustrated because I'm questioning the amount. That's a 535 difference that's enough to go grocery shopping and pay a utility and put gas in my car. I still don't trust it honestly but I'll have to and be prepared to dispute if something goes wrong. I will be finding my family a new dental office after my appointment. Update: my appointment was canceled. I spoke with receptionist on Monday to confirm appointment and amount. Appointment set for following Monday. Saturday during my work hours I got a call that couldn't answer. Checked voicemail once I was off work voicemail was to confirm the appointment or it would be Canceled. We set the appointment... that was a confirmation that I wanted service. I believe this is being done internationally. Previously I've received voicemails from this office for a Monday appointment reminding of a cancellation fee if I don't show. Calling the over the weekend to cancel the appointment. Wow I'm over it. I'm going to get all refunds and go elsewhere

Fast forward to September 7th 2022. I have found a new amazing dentist and dental hygienist. ( GO SOMEWHERE ELSE) This billing department called me, very rudely and asked for 20 dollars, or they will send it to collections. I AM WARNING ANYONE LOOKING AT THESE REVEWS DO NOT GO HERE. THEY LITERALLY LEFT ME IN PAIN 2 MONTHS AGO (DID NOT PREFROM THE ROOT CANAL AND INFECTION THEY KNEW I HAD GOING ON AFTER TAKING MY $265.00) THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY COULDN'T SEE ME, BECAUSE WHEN I WAS IN THEIR OFFICE A MAN WITTNESED HOW I WAS BEING TREATED AND CALLED TO MAKE A COMPLAINT AND THAT WAS I GUESS MY FAULT!!! They also did a deep cleaning, that wasn't needed !! My new amazing, dental hygienist told me they shouldn't have done that. I paid $300 at my new dentist for a tooth extraction (due to the negligence of Waldo dental, i could've had a filling last year instead of a deep cleaning that took up all of my insurance) Also a regular cleaning and 5 cavities filled they also fixed the cheap cap that Dr. Lindman put on my front tooth!!!!

I'm unsure why I am being treated the way I'm being treated by the office but I've had a billing related concern since June. I actually only have two questions that have gone unanswered. Was advised that I would get a call back and no call has been returned. Its unfortunate my visit for service went well it wasn't until speaking with billing that the subpar experience began. Ive been advised that my max out of pocket was met which is incorrect. I've gotten incorrect dates and amounts when calling. I just feel like the receptionist won't actually listen to understand there is a discrepancy. I can't wait until someone actually listens and the issue is resolved.

The dentist is very nice and does good work, but the Office Manage is a horrible bully. You'll be fine as long as you don't have to deal with her.

I am highly dissatisfied. I spent over 2k with this office the Waldo location. The treatment plan was given to me and I signed it after a few weeks I started the treatment and their was a price increase with no notification . Also one of the treatments was a root canal which was done in two sessions ( that should have been the red flag) my fault trying to save money I ended up with an infection . I went back twice only to be sent home with steroids. I then went to Dr Gish leawood endodontics they assessed the situation and said no it's an infection and possible a canal was missed. I needed a retreat went back to Waldo and of course upset because I called trying to resolve and the new office manager tried to tell me they gave me several courtesy credits ?? The credits were for visits that I went due to the infection and was told no charge will be made to my account . So when I tried to ask for a refund so I can pay for my re treatment they started making excuses first the courtesy credits then that the doctor would need to see doctors Gish letter of assessment I emailed them what they needed was told they would call be back before 5pm no call. So I went in person to discuss and they refuse to refund me and of course I said I would seek legal action now they refuse to talk to me . What kind of treatment is this? So do not go to this office unless if you want poor patient service. The doctor is nice but the staff is awful he has high turnover rate.

NO... omg I went in for a deep cleaning and a few fillings long story short my mouth still hurts over a month later. The dr tried to fix it but he can't and after about the fourth visit he stopped coming in and just sent the Assistant to try and adjust my bite. I'm still looking for a new dentist to help me so I can eat again

Today was my daughter's first visit after leaving another practice. We both left smiling because of our experience. The hygienist, Dynasty, went out of her way to explain the tools and process to my daughter, stopping to check on her comfort throughout. Dr. Lindman was kind, engaged, and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Thank you so much Dr. Lindman!! Place was amazing, they got me in really quickly, everyone was very kind and helpful,! Toni and Alondra up front were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Hakisa the dental assistant was amazing, kind, and very helpful! Appreciated the quality of care and explanation of all of my options. My tooth feels so much better, very happy and definitely would recommend!! Will be sending my friends and family here!

I would love to give this place a good review because the dentist and dental assistant I met with were so nice to me.l, but every other interaction I've had at this office has been miserable. Their staff is very rude about scheduling and although their website says they have "convenient evening and Saturday appointments," they barely do. The evening appointments are 6 on Monday and that's it! If you have a busy schedule, forget this place. Every time I've made an appointment, the person I scheduled with was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I missed an appointment because I couldn't get off work on time and then they wouldn't allow me to make an appointment on a Monday again, their only "late" day. They would not listen to me and pressured me to schedule on a date I knew that I would have trouble getting to. I missed that appointment (on a Saturday) and was forced to schedule on a Monday when I knew I wouldn't be able to make it! I called ahead to cancel each appointment. Ahead of my appointments, they call and leave stern messages telling me I won't be able to schedule on ____ again if I miss this appointment and sometimes leave messages where they speak too fast for me to understand. I feel so uncomfortable with their scheduling staff that I can't go back. I thought I'd found an office that cared about reducing barriers to dental care because their questionnaire asked about anxiety, but they don't care at ALL about barriers patients are facing.

This dental office is actually nice visit! The doctor really takes his time to explain what is going on in your mouth. The assistants are all lovely and it feels like a family; a very clean and professional family. If you're searching for a dentist where you won't be judged and you will be treated like a person, look no further- this is the place.

I want to give them more stars because they were kind people, but ultimately I think their dental work is what has caused severe infections in my teeth. This summer I got 11 fillings done at this office. I thought it was strange I had so many cavities but no pain, but didn't question it. Afterwards I had intense pain in my mouth and the pain continues today, albeit more dull now. I just got two root canals done on teeth that they filled and have scheduled an appointment with another dentist in town to evaluate 4 other teeth that have severe pain to the point where I can't chew or let cold food/drink touch those teeth. I never had tooth pain of any kind before I got my fillings this summer and am going to be out thousands of dollars by the time everything is fixed.
