Dr. Alexander Waldman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a triple Ivy League trained orthodontist. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also received the National Board Achievement Award.
Dr. Waldman completed his fellowship in orthodontics at Harvard University and received the esteemed Joseph L. Henry Award for Excellence in Clinical and Research Training, awarded to the top graduate student amongst all dental specialties. At Harvard, Dr. Waldman also received a Master of Medical Sciences degree and studied the effect of collagen mutations on temporomandibular joint degeneration, establishing an innovative research model that has led to many other studies and sparked the development of Dr. Waldmans expertise in clinical management of jaw disorders and complex bite issues. Dr. Waldman was also recognized for his abilities to care for a wide range of children and adults with awards from the Society of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities and the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry.
Dr. Waldman has achieved the highest Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). He was honored by having one of his cases selected from amongst hundreds of board cases as an ideal orthodontic result to be displayed at the annual meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists AAO.

Waldman Orthodontics is at the cutting edge of technology, bringing our patients the most modern and effective techniques. Our office is completely digital, utilizing the latest digital scanning technology (to avoid those undesirable impressions!), customized 3D printed LightForce Braces, Invisalign, and remote monitoring capabilities.
A state-of-the-art diagnostic process is essential in understanding the jaw relationship of each patient to create an optimal bite. Using digital imaging, Dr. Waldman obtains highly accurate and detailed views of all anatomies such as bone, teeth, and tooth orientation, tooth and nerve relation prior to confirming a patient's diagnosis and treatment plan.
All charges are included in your treatment fee, which is quoted at your examination. Dr. Waldmans treatment fee includes a diagnostic workup, complete treatment including all required visits, progress records during treatment, final records at the end of treatment, one set of retainers when the braces are removed, and periodic visits during the retention period. All diagnostic information is collected on site; you do not have to go to a separate dental laboratory.
During orthodontic treatment, routine maintenance of your appliances may be necessary. Occasionally, you may require an afterhours visit. At Waldman Orthodontics, we have an afterhours service should you need it.
OSHA is a government body that requires very stringent protocols to ensure patient and team member safety. Dr. Waldman utilizes state-of-the-art sterilization methods and uses outside consultants to monitor all sterilization techniques and results.
Dr. Waldmans green office is paperless and utilizes electronic charts, digital x-rays, digital models, electronic communication, etc. We also use recyclable materials whenever possible (excluding anything that goes into your mouth).

I was referred to Dr. Waldman by my daughter. Not really being able to chew food properly due to my bite, my previous dentist recommended clear correct. I trusted her and gave it a try. As a result I had a beautiful full smile but my bite got worse. I met with Dr. Waldman and after some tears (me) and head scratching (Dr W), he had a plan. Long story short, this 67 year old wore braces, attached elastics and never wavered, for almost a year. Now I am another success story !!! I am so happy with my results, we are almost at the finish, braces off, letting the bite settle. Everyone at this practice is kind, accommodating, and so pleasant. This says a lot about Dr. Waldman, who I cannot say enough about! Oh and PS, when the braces came off, he polished my teeth, soften a few edges...... wow they have never looked so beautiful! So yes 5 stars

Dr. Waldman is an amazing orthodontist- he pays great attention to detail and truly cares about each patient. We have had three of our children come to Dr. Waldman for braces and plan to bring our younger kids when they are ready. Dr. Waldman's entire staff is professional and kind. Dr. Waldman and his team are GREAT! First, does the Invisalign process work? YES! All expectations (with my teeth) were met, and then some. But it was the interaction and communication with the Waldman Team throughout the process that elevated the experience- and certainly made it easier, smoother, and stress free. If you call in or text, almost any member of the team will know who you are, will understand your questions, and quickly get you answers. And thanks to an app used to track the Invisalign progress (and available with some other practices), you'll need very few offices visits over a year. But, more important: send a progress update through that app at anytime, including Saturday nights, and you will get a respond extremely fast. Onsite appointments are focused and quick. Team Waldman is tight, knowledgable, professional and nice...oh, and your teeth will look great too!

I found my experience at Waldman Orthodontics to be all positive! All procedures were explained in detail with tremendous explanation. I always knew what to expect. I found ALL personnel to be happy, pleasant and very helpful. I would definitely use this practice again if needed for anyone in my family.

Pretentious policy that they won't remove braces from another orthodontist. I moved across country and simply asked for them to be removed and they said they "don't remove other ortho braces" - it takes 20 mins tops and is super easy. So pretentious.

Dr. Waldman was extremely professional, kind, and patient. He and his entire team took the time to make sure that I understood my Invisalign treatment every step of the way. He and his team is also fantastic when it comes to picking the treatment that fits both your smile and your budget. I'm so happy that I stumbled upon his office on the Invisalign app. If you're looking for your next ortho treatment you really won't find anything better than Waldman orthodontics. So ecstatic with my new smile :)

His staff were really nice and very helpful every time I'd call or visit the office. I don't live near the office and they were extremely accommodating with my schedule. I had both an excellent experience and excellent orthodontic outcome with Dr. Waldman and his team. I was told by numerous dentists and orthodontists that my bite problems (open bite) could only be corrected with surgery which would have been invasive and painful with a tough recovery and much lost time from work. As a medical professional myself, significant downtime was not something I was willing to undertake for this issue. Dr. Waldman offered me a much simpler solution with confidence (Invisalign). His treatment plan worked as he described and met all expectations. His experience with Invisalign is extensive and he can unlock its full potential. After treatment, my bite and smile are better than I could've imagined. The dental monitoring system which accompanies the Invisalign treatment is great so that you can see your progress along the way and helps keep you motivated. I highly recommend Dr. Waldman and his team and if I had to make the decision over again I would do so without hesitation.

There really is NOTHING bad you can say about Waldman Orthodontics. From the staff, to the office, to the "patient of the day" surprises, this facility is top notch. Most importantly, Dr. Waldman is a beyond excellent doctor. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients get the very best treatment. My daughter had a complicated situation from an injury, and he led us on a very long, difficult path with patience, knowledge, kindness and understanding the entire way. We are very grateful to everyone in the office. I can honestly say they made the entire experience wonderful.

Dr. Waldman and his team are fantastic! This was the best money I ever spent! Although his services for Invisalign are on the pricier end, it's worth every single penny to choose his facility over others. Over the course of my 16 month treatment, I probably stepped into the office about 4 times? Each appointment was always on time and concise. The use of the Dental Monitoring System allowed the team to monitor my progress from home using a VR looking box designed for your mouth, lol. By having the DM app, the team signaled when to stay on the current tray or advance onto the next set of aligners- this was especially useful during the first round of closures during of pandemic because I still had access to the care I needed from the comfort of my home. Upon re-opening, the office made sure to take every safety measure possible in order to protect both patients and staff. The office is extremely accessible by app, text, or phone which is so convenient as a working adult! My friends and family are so impressed with how quickly and beautifully my teeth have shifted. Thank you Waldman Ortho!
