Dr. Trey Walding grew up in Dade City, Florida. He graduated with honors from Pasco High School in 1988 and was in the National Honor Society. Dr. Walding graduated from the University of Florida in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Dr. Walding then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1996. After graduation Dr. Walding returned to Dade City and bought his first dental practice. He also continued his education and took one year of business courses at Saint Leo University.
Dr. Walding relocated to Lakeland, Florida in 2003 and bought two additional practices. In the late 2000s Dr. Walding, Dr. Mueller, and Dr. Carter became partners and started Dental Associates of Florida.
Dr. Walding resides in Lakeland with his wife, Julie, their four children, Mila, Chloe, Keaton, and Kaid. Throughout his years of practice Dr. Walding has continued his education in dentistry and has taken more than a thousand hours in Continuing Education courses. Dr. Walding is a Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute, a Fellow of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Polk County Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and founding member of Spear Study Club in Lakeland. Dr. Walding and his family are members of First Baptist At the Mall and are very active in the community. Dr. Walding loves University of Florida Football and is a Bull Gator. He enjoys many outdoor activities like fishing in Anna Maria, running Lake Hollingsworth, and cooking on his grill.
Dr. Jenna Godwin is originally from Winter Haven, FL, and after nine years of military service, she is thrilled to return to the Sunshine State to settle down with her family. Dr. Godwin obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida and went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She was a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Army and took direct commission onto Active Duty following dental school.
After dental school, Dr. Godwin completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Fort Benning, GA, and then obtained a four-year certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Her training in the military was extensive and included corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, various bone harvesting and grafting techniques, removal of wisdom teeth and other dental extractions, TMJ surgery, cosmetic facial surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and removing pathology and reconstruction of various head and neck structures.
Dr. Godwins most recent military assignment was in Tacoma, WA, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where she trained and mentored resident oral surgeons. During her final four-year tour, she served both as Assistant Program Director and Program Director for the OMS Residency Program at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Godwin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Her goal is to provide you with exceptional care in an environment where you will feel comfortable and at ease.
In January of 2019, Dr. Godwin welcomed her son, Elliott. Since then, she has been busy with her many full time jobs as surgeon, educator and mom. Living in the pacific northwest afforded Dr. Godwin many opportunities for traveling and outdoor activities. Although it was bittersweet to leave the west coast, she plans to continue taking advantage of the great outdoors on Floridas beautiful beaches. She enjoys SCUBA diving, hiking, yoga, reading, and cooking.

Wow what can I say absolutely amazing brought my 2 children in for the first time and am happy to say this will be there dentist moving forward did not wait time of appointment we were greeted by Diane she is a God sent may us feel like we were at home children was comfortable and loving her special thanks to you mam they are lucky to have you Dr Walding came in checked them out and was very informative friendly and answered all questions would definitely recommend.

What a great office! Everyone was so kind. Dr. Walding was efficient and took care of us quickly. Emily was gentle with my son, who was nervous and took great care of us. She was so professional and also very efficient. I'm so glad we chose this office to get treatment done.

Reliable, trustworthy, convenient! I've had this pain in my mouth for 7 months. I've been to a few doctors within those seven months; all of them, I could not get an emergency appointment, and they charged me hundreds of dollars, and never healed my pain. I called Walding & Associates as soon as they opened, explained my pain, and they booked me an appointment the same day. Within 5 minutes of sitting in the chair, the Doctor knew what was wrong and how to fix it. Within 10 minutes his amazing staff had a plan, explained every penny I would spend, and prepped me for the procedure. Within 30 minutes of walking in the building I walked out painless. Gotta Love it!!!!! Best Clinic in town.

I moved here from Las Vegas and had to get a new dentist. My insurance recommended a couple including Dr Walding. Also, I checked yelp and he had 5 stars and the review comments were so reassuring. The day of my appointment I arrived slightly early and began to fill out the paper work, when MJ came out to get me. With a big smile she said she was ready for me. She was not only wonderful but extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly and welcoming. I sat in the chair and she turned on the massage feature which relaxed me so much. It seems I am always a little nervous going to the dentist but she was like a bright light. She was so gentle with the XRAY process and then she went over what she thought of my teeth and the work needed. Then Dr Walding came in with a big friendly smile and immediately put me at ease. He went over what needed to be done and truly I just trusted what he had to say. He has a great personality and a very nice attitude. Next, I saw the dental hygienist and she too was friendly and knowledgeable. I am going back on Monday for a cleaning and I will be getting a couple of new crowns soon too. The experience was an A+ for sure! Checking out with Pamela in her office, I was greeted with another friendly person. Really, I am just so glad I found a fabulous place to take care of my teeth. FIVE Stars for Dr Walding!

The office visit was super quick and professional. I still think the work is very good expensive compared to other dentist and the estimate of the insurance. However, I believe they will work with you on the prices, if you discuss it with them.

I had a great experience with all, but, one employee who was not very pleasant at all and scheduled an appt for me without even telling or asking me if that was alright. Will consider going back for my next appt after discussing the charges with my husband.
