We equip our practice with the latest technology in orthodontics for the comfort and convenience of our patients. We are happy to have this technology available, but were also careful about only providing the care you need. We dont over-treat our patients or pressure them into pursuing additional services.

Dr. Walde earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1978 from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Five years later, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City, School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He then decided to pursue his Master of Science in Orthodontics from St. Louis University, completing the residency program in 1985.

Since 1994, Dr. Walde has served as an associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics at St. Louis Universitys Center for Advanced Dental Education. In his capacity as an educator and a caregiver, Dr. Walde feels it is important to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthodontics. He frequently attends continuing education courses to learn about the latest advances in orthodontic techniques and technology. Additionally, he has lectured across the U.S., Europe, and South America on various orthodontic subjects.

Dr. Walde grew up in Washington, Missouri and feels he is lucky to have spent more than 37 years with his wife, Debbie. They are very proud of their three children, Kate, Ryan, and Jane, as well as their seven grandchildren, Annie, Mary, Eddie, Johnnie, Marie, Luke, and Eloise! Dr. Walde is very involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Franklin County Area United Way for two three-year terms. He also served as a leader for the Explorer Scouts, Little League sports coach, and the Show Me Smiles Chapter of the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation. Dr. Walde has traveled to Honduras on several occasions with the Washington Overseas Mission to assist in providing dental care for the poorest of poor. In 2016 Dr. Walde and a friend formed OxFest Charities, LLC (a 501c3 corporation). OxFest Charities helps fund scholarships and unmet student needs for local students. They also provide funding for Whole Kids Outreach, an organization in rural southeast Missouri that helps children live full lives free from preventable abuse, neglect and illness. Their mission includes helping those who don't have the means to help themselves. Dr. Walde joined the Board of Directors for Whole Kids Outreach in 2018.

With the goal of being an orthodontist, Dr. Jackie graduated With Distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School in 1991 where she received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While completing her doctorate degree in dentistry, she served as president of the dental school student council and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Subsequently, Dr. Miller attended the University of Nebraska-Medical Center-College of Dentistry where she received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. After completing her specialist training, Dr. Miller returned to her hometown of Washington and began practicing with her father, Dr. Francis Miller.

Dr. Miller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. She is a member of the Southwest County Dental Society, the Missouri Society of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Washington University Orthodontic Study Club. She currently teaches part-time in the St. Louis University Orthodontic Residency Program.

Dr. Miller is actively involved in her church, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Washington, Missouri and gives back to the community through the Rotary Club. She actively participates in all Rotary Club activities, and has written several humanitarian grants. She has received the District Service Award for her efforts and was recognized as Rotarian of the Year in 1999.

Dr. Miller is a founding member and vice president of the Washington Overseas Medical and Dental Mission. Since 1992 she has organized dental mission trips to third world countries. She helped establish a daycare and dental clinic in Pimienta, Honduras. Dr. Miller received the Spirit of Mercy Physician Award from St. Johns Mercy Hospital in recognition of her many humanitarian activities.In 2016, the American Association of Orthodontists awarded Dr. Miller the Humanitarian of the Year and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists gave Dr. Miller the Earl E. Shepard Distinguished Service Award for her service to the Midwestern Society and her volunteer efforts.

Each member of our treatment team is certified in dental and orthodontic assisting. Our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We also strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advancements by taking online courses and regularly attending association meetings.

I started working as a Scheduling Coordinator in 2005. I organize our schedule so that each day is as smooth as possible. I love seeing our patients beautiful smiles when they are finished with treatment. In my spare time I like to play volleyball and golf and spend time with my wonderful husband and family. I have 18 wonderful grandchildren and they all make me smile!

I have been with the office since 2013. I help organize the schedule to run smoothly and efficiently. When Im not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my son, Koby, play soccer. I enjoy seeing the new smiles that come into our office and the excitement of our patients at the end of treatment.

I am responsible for insurance processing, accounts receivable and payable, payroll and scheduling, and various other duties throughout the office. I have worked here since 1987 and love seeing beautiful smiles created and the joy it gives to the patients and their parents. Dr. Walde and Dr. Miller are very caring and family oriented. They are always very honest with our patients and parents about their orthodontic needs and treatment. I feel very fortunate to be on their team. In my spare time I like to hunt and fish and flower garden. I am very proud of my two beautiful daughters, Amber and Brianne. I also have a flame point Siamese cat named Dylan.

I joined the Walde Miller team in 2017, relocating to the beautiful state of Missouri from Colorado. I have been in the orthodontic field since 2002 and have been guiding patients through the process of achieving their goals of a beautiful smile. Over the years, I have been cross trained to assist the doctors in the orthodontic procedures. I absolutely love every aspect of the orthodontics process, from the beginning to the end. There is nothing that makes me happier than watching the patients build confidence and self-esteem. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and the great outdoors, hiking, floating, rock climbing... you name it!

Ive been with Walde Miller Orthodontics since Spring 2021. I have several years of experience in orthodontics. I previously worked at an office in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started there as a Clinical Assistant and then was promoted to Insurance Coordinator prior to coming to Missouri. I enjoy reading, traveling, and experiencing new adventures. I have two children and two dogs that keep me on my toes.

I joined Walde Miller in 2020 but I've been in the orthodontic field for over 30 years. Recently re-located from New Hampshire/Boston area with experience in treatment coordinating & administrating. My favorite part of my job is interacting with everyone whether it's with our patients or our wonderful team! In my free time, I enjoy biking, hiking, reading with a nice glass of wine on my patio! I have two children, JD & Taylor, both have been very lucky to have played their sport at the D1 level. JD has now been drafted in hockey & continues to chase the dream! Taylor enjoys the sport of lacrosse, but will one day be a physician assistant...an athletic one! My husband, Joe, and I have been married for over 30 years and enjoy a lot of outdoor activities together & watching our children chase their dreams! I have a cat, Sassy and a dog, Hannah, who is a spoiled chihuahua who goes everywhere with me.

In addition to assisting with all aspects of the clinical care for our orthodontic patients, I also manage the clinic to ensure our patients have the best possible experience. I absolutely love working in the orthodontic field and have been working in orthodontics for more than 35 years. It is so great to get to know our patients and watch how their confidence and self-esteem grow as their teeth straighten. All the time and effort put into their orthodontic care is always worth it in the end! In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. I have spent these last 32 years helping people get the beautiful smiles they deserve! I am well-rounded, working as an orthodontic and chairside assistant, as well as a lab technician, making appliances and retainers for our patients. In my free time I enjoy riding motorcycles with my husband and spending time with my three kids and two grandkids.

I assist Dr. Walde and Dr. Miller in providing all aspects of clinical care for our orthodontic patients. Working here from 1995 to 2000, and joining the team again in 2005, I have gotten to know so many great people from our community. I love working with our patients to help them get that perfect smile. In my spare time I love to go floating, kayaking, camping, hiking, and biking. I have three boys at home who really keep me on my toes! Our two dogs, a Jack Russell Terrier named Buddy and a Beagle named Stubby, help me keep the boys in line.

I graduated from assisting school in 2015 with my CDA and Expanded Functions. Shortly after, I began working at Walde Miller Orthodontics. I love watching everyone get their perfect smile! When I am not at the office, I spend my free time with my two daughters, Emma and Sophia, and our pitbull, Jake.

I have been in the orthodontic field for over 30 years. It's interesting watching the patients progress with their beautiful smiles and self confidence. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, and spending time with my family & friends. I also enjoy watching my granddaughters play volleyball.

I joined the Walde Miller team in 2020. I love being an assistant because I am able to play a big part in helping the doctors treat our patients and watching the patients progress with their beautiful smiles and self confidence. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my dog, River.

I initially worked here in 2017 and recently came back in Spring 2021. In my free time, I enjoy going out on the river and being outdoors. I live in Beaufort with my daughter, Elery, and husband, Jarad. We will be adding to our family soon; our son is due in Fall 2021!

I initially worked with Dr. Walde from 2000 to 2015 and rejoined Walde Miller Orthodontics team in 2021. My favorite part of my job is interacting with patients and seeing the patients love their smile as they progress through treatment. I enjoy spending my spare time with family and friends.
