Dr. Bohn is a native of central Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Penn State University and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Temple University School of Dentistry. After graduating, he worked for five years as an associate for two general dentists in central Pennsylvania, until he opened his own dental practice in Lewisburg, PA in 2001. Dr. Bohn sold his thriving dental practice in 2009 to pursue a lifelong dream of living in a warmer climate, and he and his family moved to Cary.

Having practiced in a rural area for most of his 20+ year career, Dr. Bohn has expanded his abilities to include a range of more complicated procedures as he found that patients typically wanted to be treated in the same office whenever possible. He is proficient in root canal therapy, difficult extractions (including most impacted wisdom teeth), dentures and he has been surgically placing dental implants since 2001. A lifelong member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of a local chapter of the Seattle Study Club (that meets monthly), he enjoys continually learning new techniques and procedures. Dr. Bohn is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience

One thing you can count on when seeing Dr. Bohn is that his light-hearted sense of humor will make you feel at ease and that he will use a conservative, low pressure, option-based approach to his treatment recommendations. Dr. Bohn has a passion for precision dentistry and his favorite part of being a dentist is getting to know his patients and their families. In addition to his clinical interest in dentistry, Dr. Bohn is an avid and competitive golfer with a low handicap. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family, fishing, and traveling. He also has a private pilots license and enjoys aviation. His family regularly attends church in Cary.

Dr. Jerry Allen was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. After receiving an undergraduate degree in microbiology from North Carolina State University, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Since graduating, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Dallas V.A. Medical Center, which has allowed him to expand his skillset as a general dentist and became experienced treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions. During his time in Dallas, he received training in dental implants, periodontal surgery, and complex restorative dentistry. He is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.

Dr. Allen, his wife Lauren, and their four-pound Yorkie, Ellie, are excited to be back home in the Triangle. During his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. His wife is a food photographer by profession, so he also enjoys scavenging food after photo shoots.
