Dr. Wahlers was born and raised in central New Jersey. He attended Gettysburg College for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in biology, graduating summa cum laude. During his undergraduate volunteer experiences in different medical settings, Christopher decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
During his time at New Jersey Dental School (Rutgers University), Christopher served as president of his class and graduated in 2003 as a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society. He continued his education with an Advanced Dental Education residency program at Temple University.
Prior to Wahlers Family Dentistry, Christopher spent many years in Pottstown, PA as the primary dentist at Pottstown Family Dental Spa. In the past, he has also practiced in Northeast Philadelphia and has taught part time as an adjunct professor for Temple University School of Dentistry. When he is away from the office, Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Hiking is his favorite hobby, and he has hiked the trails of many national and state parks throughout the US and Canada.
Our Front Desk Manager, Renee, joined our practice fairly recently. She brings many years of dental experience to our office, having worked in dentistry for many years. She is originally from Pennsylvania, moved out of state for a time, and is now back. Renee spends her free time with her husband, her daughter, and her dog.
Carol has been actively practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over thirty years. She loves interacting with her patients on all aspects of dental health and is passionate about how foods and drinks impact health, particularly oral health. She deeply cares for all of her patients and views them as extended family. She is also a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner and has spent time advising on nutrition and its impact on dental health.
Carol is a graduate of Montgomery County Community College and a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association, and Montgomery/Bucks Dental Hygiene Association. She has been a part of the local community her entire life. When she is not working, Carol enjoys gardening, genealogy, and doing vitamin and supplement research.
Mary is a dental assistant and has been with our practice for many years. She usually assists Dr. Wahlers for dental procedures. She has a friendly demeanor and loves to make patients feel comfortable while they are here. Mary lives close to the practice and has been a part of the community her whole life.

I have been going here for about 2 years now and everytime I go in everyone is so friendly. They have never made me feel bad about my teeth even though I know sometimes I slack off. They have always been so positive and I finally don't mind going to the dentist. At my previous dentist I was always told how terrible my teeth were and always needed extra work done. They made me feel terrible and I dreaded going to the dentist. I am so happy to have found a dentist that makes me feel good. Even being new to the dentist they always make sure your comfortable and never make you feel like an outsider.
