I received my Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with distinction, earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery, finishing fourth in a class of 111, and continued on for my Master of Science in Orthodontics all from the University of Minnesota. I take numerous continuing education courses annually so my patients can take advantage of the newest and most advanced treatment technology available.
I am a native of Bemidji and currently reside in Winona with my wife, Sandy. We have three grownchildren, Brandon, Jason, and Cortney, and a dog, Maple. When Im not in the office, I enjoy fishing, hunting and making traditionalfolding pocket knives. I am also an avid long-distance runner and have completed eight marathons. I have been a member of the YMCA and the Chamber of Commerce for 33 years.
I am proud to say I've been working for Dr. Taber for 28years! I began my journey at Dr. Taber's office as a Licensed Dental Assistant. Seven years later I found a new career as the Office Administrator. My responsibilities include all administrative tasks, insurance and accounts to ensure a smooth financial process for all our patients. Dr. Taber has been great to work for! He is a skilled and experienced Orthodontist that brings bright smiles to all our patients. I am so proud when I get to see our patient's confidence grow. We make a difference here, and knowing that you can change someone's life makes my job an A+!
I am happily married to my husband of 24 years and we have two amazing children, Nikki and Jordon. In my spare time I enjoy working outside, running, gardening, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.
I started working as an orthodontic assistant in 2002, I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Taber since September 2013. Starting here has been such a positive change in my life! Dr. Taber not only does exceptional work but is incredible to work for. My responsibilities are meeting and greeting patients back to the op & making them comfortable along with assisting Dr. Taber with patients. I truly enjoy my work!
I am married to an amazing man and we have nine children between us. We do LBW rodeo as a family and raise miniature schnauzers. If I happen to get free time after that I enjoy reading, knitting and quiet time & spending time with friends & family.
