Dr. Tae Sung John Ku is a licensed dentist in District of Columbia (Washington DC) and Virginia. Dr. Tae Sung John Ku received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, IN and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Dr. Kus primary interests are in digital dentistry and implant dentistry. Dr. Ku completed a series of implant courses with GDIA and earned his fellowship. Now he serves as a faculty member for GDIA.

JESSICA + DR. KU are AMAZZINNG and legitimately the whole staff and place are amazing. My most favorite dentist. Ever. I love their modern tech, their bedside manner, the office space, and friendliness, the atmosphere. This place is like the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons of the dental industry in my humble opinion. Even scheduling (and rescheduling) appointments are a joy. Thank you for the quality and care that you all give me.

I'm so glad I found W+ Dental. Dr. Ku is awesome - he is always using the latest dental technology to make the experience as comfortable as possible, and takes the time to address any questions I have. The office is fantastic with scheduling and follow-up reminders, and the hygeniests are always top notch. This is the perfect dentist for you if you're scared of the dentist, and looking for a comforting experience knowing that you're in the best hands possible. I can't recommend W+ enough! Also - they have a (hypoallergenic) dog which rocks.

W Plus is my favorite dentist of all time. Dr Ku and his staff are very professional, helpful, thorough, and friendly. They really listen to their patients and are great communicators. Cleanings are excellent and comfortable. Office is beautiful and convenient. They even have a sweet hypoallergenic dog named Bali available for cuddles! We moved to the suburbs and still go with W Plus because we app them so much. Highly recommend!

My go to place for dental care, regardless of in network or not. Dr. Ku is of course the best, very good "bedside manner". They use all the latest tech also. The new hygienist Jess solved a years long sensitivity problem I had and is very accommodating to my needs. Also Michael at the front desk is great and goes above and beyond every time, very good guy. Highly recommended all around!

I went in for my biannual cleaning and Jessica the hygienist was absolutely professional, personable, and thorough. Throughout process, she was very pleasant while providing the best quality of service I've received at a dental office. Dr. Ku was of course on point too as usual, it's safe to say that my teeth are in the best of hands.

Best dental care in the area! Dr. Ku and his team are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. Dr. Ku truly cares about the well being of his patients. His state of the art equipment cut the time in half that it normally takes for a cleaning and it was actually a very enjoyable process!! Thank you for the great experience!

I strongly recommend Dr Ku and his team! First time I walked in was to ask for information and see the environment. Michael has been so welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful, the environment very professional and clean, that I booked immediately appointments for my husband and myself. So glad I did! I have very sensitive teeth / gums, water and air during the regular hygiene bother me a lot. Dr Ku uses advanced technologies and for the first time in my life I didn't feel anything! My mouth was soo clean and teeth brighter without feeling any discomfort during the whole hygiene procedure. Not to mention the kindness of Dr Ku and his assistant. My husband was very happy too, he knew he had to do some major works and asked Dr Ku as a second opinion: explanations were crystal clear and definitely made sense (not so obvious with other dentists).

This is my first Google review ever and I'm writing one because that's how amazing Dr. Ku and his staff are. Dr. Ku and his staff are both compassionate and competent. They will always offer you all available options for your dental problems and let you know of the pros and cons of each option. This office is truly a transparent business with the goal of helping everyday people like myself with their dental health and hygiene. I'm leaving DC, and I can only hope to find a similar dental office like Dr. Ku's.

Dr. Ku is the best dentist I've ever had. The office is very well run, I'm always seen within 10 minutes of arriving, and they are really accommodating to rescheduling when needed. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, Dr. Ku and Dr. Wolf are both super competent and nice, and the hygienist Maika is really friendly. I am doing an invisible aligner treatment now, the cost is reasonable, and they do a payment plan as well. I highly recommend Dr. Ku and W Plus Dental, and refer friends as often as I can!

This place is great. Super professional, but my last visit I felt very uncomfortable because the dental assistant was wearing her mask below her nose the entire time. I should've said something but I didn't want to come across as rude, but it's my health at risk in the middle of a pandemic. What really struck me was the fact that the dentist was there and didn't say anything to her. I'd love to come back and feel safe, so please make sure your staff are aware that even if they have a double mask on... it should cover completely their nose and mouth.

I suffer from sever dental phobia. The people at the office put me at ease. The front desk guy, I forget his name, blonde guy was so sweet. Micah cleaned my teeth so gently & taught me how to properly floss and brush. She's so sweet. Dr.Wolf was so understanding and worked hard to make sure I understood the drama with my teeth. Kim took the time to sit me time and explained payment arrangements. This office is incredible.

W+ Dental is the best! We've been going there for about ~3 years now and even though we've since moved further away, we still make the drive back because they are worth it! * Office is clean and sanitary * Very friendly office staff / hygienists * Very easy to communicate with (your choice of calls, emails, or texts) * Nice dental equipment * Very thorough / detail oriented * Dr. Ku has a hypoallergenic emotional support dog to help comfort patients. To be fair, I'm not sure if the dog is there all the time, so if this is important to you, you might want to double check! He's been there every time we've gone, but that could just be a coincidence!

I just want to give big thanks to Maika and the whole dental office for keeping things very clean and very professional during my visit. This was my first ever visit at the W plus dental office and I was very satisfy. My temperature was checked and everyone was so nice!! My hygienist Maika took a great care of me during my cleaning! She was general, detailed and explained things about how should I floss to maintain a good care of my teeth. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her and the W Plus Dental office.
