Dr. Bradford Washington understands this clearly and has founded Central Park North Orthodontics to be New Yorks premier location for transformative orthodontic care. Helping patients, especially children, achieve a smile that restores their confidence and helps them grow as a person is the most rewarding experience for him and his team.
Raised in Warner Robins, GA, Dr. Washington was inspired by his mother and her two sisters, who were educators. He was active in sports and involved in his community and school, nominated as Mr. Northside at his high school, Northside High School, and graduated top 10 of his class.
Following high school, Dr. Washington attended Morehouse College where he majored in chemistry and minored in mathematics, and graduated cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and then completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
From a young age, Dr. Washington has been interested in helping people and being a business owner. After shadowing many professionals, he decided dentistry merged together all of his goals. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at Harvard's School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He also completed a three year residency at the accredited University of Illinois at Chicago and earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences degree. This residency is specifically focused on the science of orthodontics, and is what qualifies Dr. Washington to design custom braces and clear aligner (Invisalign) treatment for all of his patients.
Dr. Washington is proud of the wholesome environment and fun energy that exists throughout Central Park North Orthodontics. Because of this, most patients instantly feel at ease, which allows them to get the care they need without the fuss! He is proud to have helped thousands of patients through their first orthodontic experience!
And while children's orthodontics are a big part of the practice, Dr. Washington is also highly skilled at helping adults achieve the smile they deserve in a simple and timely manner. As a platinum level provider and one of the largest single doctor providers of Invisalign in Manhattan, patients are able to straighten their smiles with ease!
When not in the office, Dr. Washington loves to travel. He enjoys staying active by working out, playing basketball, snowboarding, and golfing. At home, he enjoys gardening and watching his plants grow. Family time is important to Dr. Washington as well, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Copeland suffered from extreme misalignment of his teeth as a child. After completing orthodontics to realign his smile, he realized how much of an impact the teeth and a straight smile can bring. This experience led him to pursuing his career in orthodontics!
Dr. Copeland attended Morehouse College for his bachelors before moving on to Howard University College of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following that, he pursued a higher education at Case Western Reserve University Orthodontic Program and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Copeland joined the practice in June of 2020. His favorite part of the orthodontic industry is seeing his patients faces when their new smile is revealed! Because no two smiles are alike, Dr. Copeland is able to take a patient-centered approach with each case.

Dr. Washington was very warm and friendly when I first met him for a consultation. After your first visit you can tell Dr. Washington genuinely cares about his patients and wants to the best care for us. I've been to other orthodontics consultations and Dr. Washington was by far the best out of the others. Please visit Dr. Washington for Orthodontics needs!!!

Staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel safe under their care. Doctor Washington is very kind and fully informs the patient on every step of their treatment. He is responsive to whatever questions or concerns you have. Whole team feels like a family they really do go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful modern offices in both locations (Harlem & White Plains). I would highly recommend W Orthodontics to anyone considering it. :)

I highly recommend Dr. Washington and his warm and professional staff for all of your orthodontic needs. I had a complex issue that developed over the course of several years. I had thrusted my teeth with my tongue to the point where I wasn't able to make contact in the rear molars and so was experiencing some issues, including with digestion and issues with pain. In my initial consultation Dr. Washington was thorough and set forth a plan to correct the issue. He took the time to answer my questions and we got started that day. Not only were we able to correct the issue, but give me a near perfect smile, one I hadn't ever really had. The office is bright, accommodating, clean and easy to access. The staff are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Appointments are convenient and efficient. If ever I have another need for orthodontics, I will most certainly come to W Orthodontics. I can't recommend highly enough!!

I've started my Invisalign treatment 3 months ago, and from the moment i stepped in the door my experience with W orthodontics has been nothing but pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone needing orthodontist services.

I removed one of my molars last year and after a couple months I realized I had crowding and shifting.....in other words my smile wasn't great anymore. I was encouraged by a friend to get braces. I was very reluctant at first but after my consultation with Dr Washington I was more comfortable with the idea of wearing braces. I have been wearing my braces for over 3 months and my smile has greatly improved Overall friendly staff...clean environ and awesome Dr. Receptionist Sari and Jhanell are warm and friendly.
