Dr. Harris is a native of Randolph County, growing up in Seagrove. He is a graduate of Elon Univeristy, and the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry. Dr. Harris has practiced dentistry in Asheboro since 1983. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Randolph County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He completes many hours of continuing education each year to keep up with the latest developments in Dentistry.
Dr. Harris has been named Best Dentists in America by Woodward White Publishing, an award given after nomination and voting by other dentists. Also, he has been named Randolph Countys favorite dentist in a survey by the Courier Tribune six different times.
Dr. Harris lives in Asheboro with his wife Leigh. They have a daughter, Jessica Vet who is a graduate of Elon University and The University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. They have a son, Wade Harris who is a graduate of High Point University. Dr. Harris hobbies include golf, attending college and high school sporting events, and spending time at the beach with his family. He also loves dogs. He has coached over 25 youth sports teams in the community. Dr. Harris is a member of Randolph Rotary Club. He and his family have been members of Central United Methodist Church in Asheboro for over 25 years.

Lorie has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2001. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC. Lorie has been employed with Dr. Kelly Harris since 2001. She enjoys the time spent with each of her patients, getting to know them better at each visit, but most of all making their smiles healthier each time. She feels very blessed to work with a doctor and staff that are truly dedicated to helping everyone keep a beautiful healthy smile. Lorie loves spending time with her husband, Brantley, and their sons Foster and Wesley. They all love to be outdoors camping, hiking, swimming and just being together as a family.
Donna has worked for Dr. Harris since 1991. She graduated from Guilford Technical College earning her Certified Dental Assisting diploma in 1991. While at GTCC she was awarded the Dental Assisting Faculty Award. While on her clinical rotations, through school, she worked a three week rotation with Dr. Harris, and liked it so much that she never left. She is proud of the high quality type of dentistry we provide to our patients. She really enjoys building and maintaining professional relationships and friendship with her patients. She lives in Staley with her husband, Robbie and their two children, Blaine and Blair. When outside the office, she keeps herself very busy with her childrens sport activites and her church. Donna and her family love to go camping every chance they get.
Peggy became a part of Dr. Harris team in 1997. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical and dental administrative field. She takes pride in the quality of dentistry that we provide to our patients. She resides outside of Asheboro, where she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, hiking and sunny days at the pool.
Ruby is a native of Montgomery County. She graduated from East Montgomery High School and then graduated from Montgomery Community College in 2019 with a diploma in Dental Assisting. While in the Dental Assisting Program, Ruby did two four-week clinical rotations with Dr. Harris, and loved it so much that she never left. She really enjoyed seeing how everyone in the office treated their patients with respect and care, just like they would with any of their family members. Ruby enjoys getting to know her patients and maintaining a professional relationship, as well as friendship with them. She currently lives in Candor with her parents, Tomas and Fabiola. Ruby has an older sister, Ariana, who lives in Charlotte. When outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and fiance, Gibran. She enjoys doing fun activities with them, like going bowling or watching a movie.
Amy is a native of Randolph County. She graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2001 as a Certified Dental Assistant and in 2006 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level, while being committed to providing the highest quality of care. Outside the office, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, summers at the lake, and traveling.

Dr. Kelly Harris is an amazing dentist! I prefer sitting at the dentist office than driving by Dixie Dr! His staff is very friendly and treat you like a family member. I highly recommend Dr. Harris.

Horrible billing people. They did not go through my dental insurance, instead they direct billed me and did not notify me why they had done that. Was a complete head-ache to try and get it straight. In the end, it wasn't straightened out and again instead of contacting me about the situation, they went ahead and sent it to a collections department. Very disappointed and do not recommend.

My smile is mine again, I had forgotten how wonderful it is to smile. From the time you walk in to the office until the time you leave the staff is great and really care about you as a person. Dr. Kelly is caring and and his expertise and knowledge is evident in my smile. Wonderful experience, I recommend Dr. Kelly and his staff to all that are looking for excellent dentistry.

Two weeks ago on a Sunday I took a very bad fall on wooden stairs in my home. Consequently knocking out one tooth and loosening another. We called Dr. Harris and he and an assistant met at his office immediately. He is so considerate and understanding and they got to work very quickly. Dr. Harris placed the tooth back into position, then anchored all three teeth on the bottom together with sealant. The next morning Dr. Harris called an Endodontics specialist and they called me and took me that morning. After assessing my situation they decided to do a root canal to save the teeth. If it wasn't for Dr. Harris' quick action none of this would have been possible.

I haven't been to a dentist since 1997 because of my experience with Dr Harris. As a child I begged him to believe me that Novocain didn't work for me yet he ignored me and drilled my teeth with no numbing. I actually grabbed his arm one time as a reflex to the pain and the drill cut the inside of my mouth. He lied to my parents about it and they made me return for more fillings. After he was done, he said "I didn't get it all, we will have to do more in the coming years". I was a child, but I remember the look on his face when he told me that all the pain I had just gone through was just beginning. I haven't stepped foot in a dentists office since. Almost 25 years because of the nightmare he put me through.

Our daughter had to have cavities filled, and we weren't sure how she'd handle it. As a parent, seeing your child in fear or pain is the absolute worst feeling, but Ruby's compassion made a real difference...she went above and beyond to comfort her during the procedure, holding her hand and reassuring her that everything would be okay. I'm really thankful she was there, and I know my daughter was too.

I usually do not do a lot for myself, but having my complete smile makeover completed by Dr Harris was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I rate it the same as when I got married and had my two children.
