We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. Appel grew up in Monroeville, Pa and graduated from Gateway Senior High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He was Vice President of Chestnut Hills Dental in Irwin and served on the policy board of American Dental Partners where his responsibilities included evaluating and mentoring the other dentists in the practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has received extensive training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry from some of dentistry's top educators. He consistantly exceeds by a wide margin the state mandated requirement for continuing education. Dr. Appel enjoys golf, skiing, fitness training, travel, photography, cooking , gardening and landscaping. He met his wife Barbara in high school, and they have two beautiful daughters, Jackie and Emily.
