Living in Manhattan was the opportunity of a lifetime that I embraced with open arms; however, the need for exploring more of the United States brought me to Dallas during the spring of 2015 to visit my old roommate from NYU. Both the people and the weather were warm and inviting, and after graduation, I decided to move to Texas!
Having trained as a dentist in two countries, India and the United States, I have the experience of interacting with patients across two continents. While my extensive training has provided me with superior skills to treat common dental problems and diseases, what I enjoy most about being a dentist is the human component having conversations with my patients, exchanging ideas and being in a position to positively impact their oral health.
When Milan and I would talk about my experiences in the dental field, I felt that there was a lot to be desired in terms of the patient experience and how information has been traditionally exchanged between the patient and the dentist. With his help and support, I decided to embark on this journey to start a dental practice from scratch. We identified Kyle as an area that was most in tune with our values of hard work and family first, and we look forward to being an integral part of this exceptional community.
Vue dental is our labor of love. When Milan, my husband and partner extraordinaire, and I would talk about my experiences in the dental field, I felt that there was a lot to be desired in terms of the patient experience and how information has been traditionally exchanged between the patient and the dentist.
While my extensive training has provided me with superior skills to treat common dental problems, very little emphasis has been placed on why these problems occur in the first place. In order to provide the best overall patient experience, we knew that we needed to permeate the notion throughout our practice. Everyone aims for a great patient experience, but we want to live it - every day and every hour that were open. The notion led us to create a framework based on our four most important principles.
Preventive Medicine: We want to ensure that we dont just treat our patients while they are here, but to ensure their dental wellness well even after our visit. This includes catching any potential future (and costly) episodes before they occur. This notion has come to the forefront of other areas of medicine, and we believe it makes sense to bring preventative medicine into dentistry as well.
Modern Technology: At Vue Dentistry, we realize that our patients are entrusting their health to us. We take that seriously, and in turn, we will ensure that we invest in them as well. This means always getting the most modern equipment, but also making the patient feel comfortable with TVs, games for kids, and most importantly.
Honesty & Trustworthiness: This certainly goes without saying; however, we will ensure that our patients understand the full story behind any issues they may have and by always thinking about what is best for our patients in the long run.
Educate our Patients: In order to live a healthy lifestyle, you must first understand how to go about doing so. Our dentists will take the time to help our patients understand what will keep them healthy if theyre just in for a regular checkup, and also how to prevent future episodes if theyre visiting for a specific issue.

Dr. Patel and her staff are caring and make the visit a breeze. Had a crown and a wisdom tooth extraction. Both procedures were great, little or no pain. Dr. Patel explained all possible issues before and after the procedure. I'm thankful to have found her and would highly recommend her dental practice for all adult and pediatric dentistry. I'd give more stars if I was allowed. Very impressed. Update Jan 2022. Now that I'm all good with respect to my oral health, I'm now getting some veneers for discoloration of the enamel in my upper teeth due to antibiotics given to me as an infact. I've waited almost my entire life to have a good smile and with Dr. Patel and her staffs help my dream will soon become a reality. Cannot wait until mid February 2022. Enough talk about me. Dr Patel and her office are worth a visit for all your oral health and dental needs. Five stars isn't enough for them !! May 2022 Update. Experiences for most people can go one of two ways, 1) leave lifetime trauma, or 2) in the case of Dr. Patel and her team leave you wishing she'd been your dentist all your life. She along with her team took an emergency dental situation today for me and made it smooth and effortless. I've said it before, you won't find a better Dentist or team in the Austin area. You should have no hesitation in giving her office a visit for all your dental and dental hygiene needs. Five stars is not enough. June 2022: another great experience at Dr. Patels office. Mind you this time I did not have any numbing gel and did feel some discomfort that was manageable. I was ok with it. !! Nothing out of the ordinary. I was getting my teeth cleaned. Max was my Hygienist and did a great job. One thing it did bring to mind is that if you are sensitive to discomfort then by all means ask for some numbing gel as Dr.Patel and her staff will provide it for you. I was fine with my procedure and will be back in December for another cleaning. Update November 2022 Had a problem with one of my veneers and Dr. Patel and Dorian her dental assistant looked after me. I am grateful to have such a caring Dentist and her support staff in Kyle. Would highly recommend her and her team. She is very gentle and explains every procedure during its course. If you're afraid of a visiting a dentist, a visit to Dr. Patel will chance your mind. Five stars all round.!!

I had an appointment today for a cleaning and I cannot tell you just how amazing my experience was. The front end staff were extremely friendly and put my nerves at ease. They had all my details ready at hand and were fast and organized so I wasn't left waiting on them. Now to talk about my cleaning with Mary! She is a rockstar and I've honestly never had such a better cleaning experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in detail so that it was easy for me to comprehend. My gums are extremely sensitive and she was so gentle and precise in her work. I live quite a distance from the practice but I had heard so many great things about Vue Dental and now I can tell you they will always have me as their patient!

Our experience with this office and Dr Patel has been excellent. My daughter is 13, she was nervous about needing braces but, ultimately we decided on Invisalign (due to playing sports) and we're very happy with the results she's seeing. The process has been simple and easy to keep up with (for a busy family/ teenager). We didnt work with this office before starting the Invisalign process. I'm considering switching to them for our routine care now too because of our positive experiences with their scheduling staff, their dental assistants, the doctor of course and even billing worked with us to make sure we received a good deal on the Invisalign package. I'm a picky person, especially when it comes to the care of my kids- I'm grateful to have found Vue Dental on FB of all places.

NOT a good experience! Was only interested in seeing Dr. Patel. Husband was told she could see me at 8am. Called back & was told Dr. Patel wasn't in office that day! I went ahead and scheduled 8am appointment, arrived a little late, was told I need to wait an hour to be seen. They asked me to come back at 1pm. My gut feeling was just skip this dentist. I agreed to go back even though I was treated poorly at 8am appointment. I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes to be seen. Scheduling is really messed up! Went in for emergency appmt to have a crown checked, they did a panoramic xray & 15+ bitewing xrays. I was horrified. Xray tech couldn't get the slide in correctly so multiple teeth had to have 2 x rays per tooth. Dentist was nice. But I have no clue who the dentists are. There are no pictures of who works there on the website. Only a picture of Dr. Patel. After appointment finance person was OK. If your wanting one dentist to do all your dental work don't go here. You get whoever is on shift that day. I'm not going back. The scheduling problems and xray tech problems were bad enough....

Overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing annoying was that I had to ask to get my teeth cleaned and the fillings done the same day. Not sure if there was miscommunication but I assumed that because this would have been my routine check up that it would all be done together along with the x rays and the pictures.

I chose Vue dental because of the good reviews and I'm glad I did. Staff are friendly and Dr. Patel is patient and takes the time to answer any questions or discuss concerns you may have. The facility is nice. Drinks are available and the tv's with Netflix on the ceiling are a good distraction if you get nervous during procedures.
