Vora Dental Care is a team of skilled dental professionals committed to creating a positive, comforting visit for patients. Comprised of experienced hygienists, dental technicians, friendly administrators, and lead by Dr. Vora, each and every point of contact at our office has one mission an outstanding patient experience.
Dr. Carina Vora comes from a long line of dental professionals. For several years, she practiced along side her grandfather, a certified dental technician, and her father, a board-certified prosthodontist.
In 1996, Dr. Vora earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Fairfield University. She went on to earn a dental degree with honors from Columbia University in 2000, and graduated as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Following dental school, Dr. Vora completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.
Dr Vora has been an active member of the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine since 2005 and has achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2013 in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine.
During her career, Carina Vora, DDS, also taught as a clinical instructor at Columbia University, and served on the Universitys Dental Admissions Committee. She currently is on the executive board for the New London County Dental Society.

Excellent staff and dr Vora is such a carrying and knowledgeable dentist who is always willing to customise her approach and treatment to your needs. Best dental cleaning I've ever had too!

An overall excellent dentist - I am a local periodontist and work with Dr Vora with periodontal and dental implant therapies. I have been consistently impressed by her compassion, skills, knowledge and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

I was afraid of going to the dentist also. So anxious and afraid. I was recommended Dr. Vora by my new general practitioner. I was comfortable from the moment I walked in. Everyone is so comforting in every step of the way. No longer afraid to go.

I called and emailed them to schedule an appointment, 3 days later no call back, since their customer service was extremely poor I contacted Affinity and they took me in immediately!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vora and her wonderful staff. I've never been afraid of the dentist or hated going, except when it came to Novocain shots. I have TERRIBLE anxiety about them. I've tried laughing gas and it only makes things worse, and while Xanax helps, it's not a solution. I've even had fillings done without being numbed. When I went to my last dentist, he basically told me to suck it up and deal, that there was no alternative. I decided to give Dr. Vora a try after hearing her recommended, and I'm so so glad I did. She was so friendly and professional, and made me feel so at ease. Her bedside manner is unparalleled, and she's also VERY good at what she does--I had to have a filling redone and it took her fifteen minutes without a single second of pain. I'm a total laser convert. I left my first filling practically in tears from relief, and immediately called my husband, my father, and my sister, all of whom have issues with dentists. They're all switching. For my second filling, I felt a moment of pain, and she immediately adjusted the laser and the rest was painless. I also brought my 2-year-old in for an exam and cleaning, and because he's on iron drops he has some light staining on the backs of his teeth, but the hygienist was so patient and friendly he didn't get upset once, even though she used the regular adult scrubber. If you're on the fence, or you're stressed about your next dental appointment, try Dr. Vora. She's heaven sent!!
