Dr. Perno has been in practice since 1975. He received his bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and his dental degree fromTemple University School of Dentistry. He holds memberships in The Academy of General Dentistry, The New Jersey Dental Association, Southern Dental Society of NJand the American Association of Oral and Systemic Health. Dr. Perno has also been honored with Fellowships in the American College of Dentistry, The Academy of Dentistry International and The International College of Dentists.
A firm believer in continuing education in dentistry, he has been extremely active in the Academy of General Dentistry. This 35,000-member organization which has required continuing education to maintain membership long before many state Dental Boards. His activity ultimately led to his becoming president of the AGD in 1998.
Dr. Perno was the Philadelphia Flyers team dentist for many years treating his first player in 1977. He has been listed as a top dentist in SJ Magazine and New Jersey Monthly Magazine. He volunteered for years at 'Project Smiles' free dental clinic at the 'Cathedral Kitchen' in Camden until it had to unfortunately close due to the pandemic.
Dr. Perno strongly believes in the importance of family both personally and professionally. He shares his personal life with his wife Rosanne, 3 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren and he shares his professional life with his office team who he considers his second family.
Rosanne has been caring and watching over our practice since 1986. She is passionate about creating a warm, caring and professional environment for our patients. She feels that patients should be treated as though they are friends or family who we care for and not just a number. Her feeling is that every patient is a VIP a Very Important Part of our dental family that deserves our respect.
As office manager, Rosanne has developed and maintained a dental office team that works cohesively and compassionately in order to provide the best care for each patient in an efficient and comfortable manner. All the facets of a dental practice must be combined smoothly in order to provide successful dental care. Rosanne has managed to develop such a team of professionals to do just that.
Rosanne is an active lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM). On September 10th, 2021 she was one of 20 Office Managers to receive the distinction of 'Master' and one of 47 Office Managers that have achieved this distinction to date. Rosanne is presently working toward 'Diplomate' the highest level of distinction in the American Association of Dental Office Management. Rosanne is also serving as vice-president of the Southern NJ AADOM chapter.
When not working Rosanne enjoys spending time with her family. She is extremely proud of her three daughters and their families. She feels blessed to be so close to her four beautiful grandchildren who always light up her day when she is with them.
Sheila came to Voorhees Family Dentistry in 2001. She holds dual positions in our practice as both a dental assistant and business manager. Over the years she has proven to be an extremely loyal hard working staff member who keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently doing any task needed of her. Her experience and knowledge during her tenure consistently grew as the practice grew making her an irreplaceable member of our dental team.
Michelle has been a member of the Voorhees Family Dentistry team since 2005. She earned her dental hygiene degree at Camden County College. She was presented with the Professional Excellence in Dental Hygiene award by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.
Prior to attaining her dental hygiene license, she was a dental assistant and found a love for oral surgery, working in the field for 18 years. Additionally, she has experience working in a periodontal practice.
Michelle loves spending time with her family. Married to Chris she has three adult children and a brand-new beautiful granddaughter. She loves crafting and Yard Sailing with her husband on Saturday mornings. Michelle is a huge Philadelphia Eagles Fan. She also volunteers her time as an outreach coordinator for Deeper Dimensions Family Support Group where she provides education and support to families and their loved ones who suffer from substance abuse disorder.
Laurais a registered dental assistant who graduated from Camden County College in 2008. She originally joined the dental profession because she loves to make people smile. Laura joined Voorhees Family Dentistry in 2019 with a wealth of experience in general and pediatric dentistry. Her ability to relate well to children in the practice has been a wonderful addition and a positive experience for our pediatric patients.
Merediths career in the dental field started in 2003. She has experience in general, periodontal and pediatric dental offices. Meredith is passionate about patient care and dental health. She works with a philosophy that her patients deserve the best possible care in a safe and comfortable manner. She also believes that it is important to build trust and friendship with each of her patients. She has an understanding nature that makes it easier for a patient to feel at ease and relaxed during their treatments.
Ariel is the newest member of our dental team. She holds a dual position in our practice both as a business assistant and a dental assistant. She graduated in 2015 from the dental assisting program at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania where she received her Dental Assistant Certificate. Ariel is also working towards becoming a Registered Dental Assistant.
We believe that communication between the patient and our team members is vital to achieving successful and satisfying treatment. We welcome questions that our patients may have concerning treatment in our office.

Great experience so far. Everyone, and I mean everyone in this office is extremely kind and personable. They went out of their way to help me figure out my insurance and send me links to.my phone to sign everything. Glad I could find such a great dentist!

Best dentist and team in the business. They are extremely skilled, patient, kind, and supportive when big procedures like crowns and root canals are being done. They have an outstanding team in their office that is quick to follow up and extremely detail oriented. I drive 2 hours to see them. I used to live in the area and moved but I will never move my business from Voorhees Family Dentistry.

I have been going to Voorhees Family Dentistry for approximately 21 years. The staff is excellent! They are so kind, caring and thoughtful. Dr. Perno is the Best! He is gentle and caring when he is doing my dental work and I highly recommend him. My Dental Hygienist, Michelle, is so wonderful! She is so kind, caring and has a lot of patience! She helps me stay calm and does an awesome job! Laura is so nice, kind and caring. She helped me so much when I had to get dental work done and always explains everything that is being done. Nobody likes going to the dentist, admit it. No one wakes up and says yay going to the dentist today. It's been true forever. However, being a patient at Dr. Perno's really is a joy. From the time you walk in until the time you leave, they are the most kind group of people you will meet. Always a happy face and a greeting with a smile. I know it's their job to remember people but they remember kids names, their schools, and what sports they play. This all makes the visit to the dentist so much more comfortable like you're talking to family and not an office. If looking for a dentist I would 100% recommend going to see Dr. Perno and his staff. I've been going for 30+ years from his times in Somerdale and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Definitely give them a call if looking for a dentist.

Dr. Perno has been my dentist for more than 40 years, and I hope for 40 more! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is an expert dentist. The office staff is always personable, professional, and nothing short.of wonderful! My hygienist, Michelle, is a friendly, detail-oriented person who treats you like she's known you forever. I love the family atmosphere of this dentist and Dr Perno is always very nice and answers all of my questions. I love how knowledgeable he and the hygentists are. I had such a fear of the dentist before I started going here, but they put my mind at ease. For the first time in my life, I (almost) enjoy going to the dentist.
