Dr. Franklin was born in Augusta, Georgia where he attended Aquinas High School and graduated in 1988. After graduating, he moved to Atlanta and matriculated through Morehouse College where he majored in Banking and Finance. After working for 7 years in corporate America, Dr. Franklin decided it was time for a change.Shoring up his resources and completing his core competencies ensuingly, he applied to Howard University and was accepted in 2004. Dr. Franklin graduated from Howard University in 2008 and was accepted to a general practice residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C. where he further honed his skills as a general dentist. Upon completion ofhis residency in May of 2009, he returned to Atlanta to enter into private practice as an associate. In December of 2010, Dr. Franklin received his Masters in Business Administration from Regis University and decided it was time to step out on his own. Finally, on January 17th 2011, Dr. Franklin opened Vivid Smile Dental Center where he strives to deliver uncompromising and outstanding service to each and every one of his patients.
Dr. Franklin continues to enhance and advance his education in all aspects of the dental field on a yearly basis and is a firm believer that education is the key to the successful delivery of dental excellence. To that end, Dr. Franklin has completed the ImplantologyMaxi Course through the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. As well, in 2015, he received his Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

I had been going here for a few years Recently bought by Dr. Obie. This new staff is awful. First experience I had dental work which I was in a lot of pain. It actually took 2 days before the dental assistant returned my call. Then the second time I had to cancel my appointment because of work which I have never done. The assistant said I should have let them because they have 24 hour policy. I could not get to my appointment and was never told about the 24 hour policy. So still in some discomfort and now must find a new dentist. Very dissatisfied.

The receptionist at the front desk was nice... Lisa my hygienist was very pleasant! She made sure I was ok frequently....The dentist was pleasant as well! I will be returning

This is a very nice and clean facility but however I feel they are money hungry they want you to have procedures that you really don't need and they want to take out teeth that shouldn't be pulled and it's very irritating the prices to me seem to be extremely high for basic routine nothing against the dentist but to me this place seem to pray and scam on your concerns. It's all about money money money! I had to find another dentist to get what I needed to be done at a lesser expense stay clear

Easy check-in process. Office is spotless! Dr. Okogie and his assistant Ruby are the BEST. Very kind and gentle. And most of all-- pain-free . Highly recommended

Be Careful When You Go Here Because They Will Try To Beg You To Get Everything Done That You Need For Dental Work That You Can Not Afford And Your Insurance Company Won't Take Care Of Right Then Like They Did Me They Will Keep On Begging You To Get It Done And You Tell Them You Can't Afford It All They Want To Do Is Make Some Money They Did Not Like It That They Could Not Talk Me Into It And I Found Out My Insurance Does Take Care Of More Dental Work I Had To Go To Another Dentist This Dentist Was Just Trying To Get Money From Me They Were Like Scammers

I had my dentures made here! Omg I only had to do one adjustment and I'm in love. Highly recommend this place to anybody. Staff friendly and knowledgeable! I felt right at home. The dentist takes more than sufficient time to get to know you. I love love this place.

First time visiting so from the time I made my appointment with them.Nothing but greatnesses.The staff period hands down very respectable.And when you ask questions they have the answer ,to where some offices might beat around the brush.And just sale you a lie.They will tell you what's for you and what's not for you. Very clean environment. Most of all even though I have my insurance and what my insurance doesn't pay for they are affordable. I might have found my family and I a dentist finally.

The staff is friendly. I will give them that, but Doc does not value his patient's time. He will have you waiting with your mouth wide open for long periods of time while he goes to work on other patients. If you need something like a filling, expect to be in the chair for at least 3 hours.
