General Dentist Dr. Martin Maya makes it his mission to improve the oral health of each patient he sees. He has been helping his patients smile for more than 12 years. Dr. Maya is a graduate of the National University of La Plata in Argentina, and he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He is committed to continuing his education in order to remain current with state-of-the-art technology, procedures and the best materials in dentistry.

General Dentist Growing up, Dr. Williams was always interested in Medicine; however, he also enjoyed working with his hands. Dentistry served to merge medical knowledge and creativity for him. He says To see the finished product a satisfied patients smile is the reward. Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Bristol (England) in 1976 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He completed his Master of Community Dental Health from the University of Birmingham (England) in 1986.

General Dentist Sarbpreet grew up in a small city of Punjab state, India. She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Genesis of Dental Sciences and Research in India. She worked as an Associate dentist in India for 1 year. Then she moved to the USA to achieve her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, MI. She is a member of many professional associations including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has taken several CE courses on Spear Education to be able to stay connected with new technology in the dental field. She is very compassionate about helping patients achieve their goals while building long-lasting relationships.

General Dentist Dr. Kamel is a general dentist who graduated from Universidad Santa Maria in Venezuela and went on to complete a 2 year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida. Dr. Kamel constantly attends dental meetings and takes continuing education courses keeping her up to date on dental procedures and materials. She specializes in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, placing emphasis on treatment quality and personal attention to her patients. She provides a broad spectrum of dental procedures with high experience in porcelain veneers, all ceramic crowns and fixed all ceramic bridges, utilizing them to create beautiful healthy smiles. With complex multidisciplinary cases Dr. Kamel enjoys working closely with orthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons to provide the best care possible to her patients. She is also a member of dental societies, including The American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Dental Association and SF District Dental Association. When she is not in the office treating patients, Dr. Kath Kamel loves to do Pilates, enjoys the beach and spends time with her family and friends.

General Dentist Dr. Emily Hardin is a native Floridian that grew up in Broward County. Her strong work ethic and passion for dentistry provide for excellent results for her patients. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, she began practicing a full scope of dentistry and has continued training in the latest dental procedures available. She believes in replacing missing teeth and providing patients with a beautiful smile so they are able to chew comfortably and look great.

Prosthodontist Dr. Javier Scarton was born and raised in Venezuela, where he practiced for 10 years as a Prosthodontist. He attended the University of Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela where he graduated with Cum Laude Honors with his DDS in 2006. Dr. Scarton then completed his post graduate Master in Prosthodontics at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain in 2009. Dr. Scarton also received the OKU zeta Chapter Scholarship for achieving Academic Excellence in Dentistry at Herman Ostrow School of dentistry at the University of Southern California where he received his DDS. Dr Scarton received specialized training in porcelain veneers, all ceramic crowns, implants and full mouth reconstructions.

Hygienist Adrianas passion is to cater to our patients needs and provide them an atmosphere where they feel and know that they are more than just a patient, but a family member at our office. Adriana is an international dentist with orthodontics studies in Venezuela who came to the United States in 2012 to use her skills in periodontal care to bring more smiles. She is our caring dental hygienist and is anesthesia certified in the State of Florida.

General Dentist Dr. Joseph Camuccio received his dental degree in 1971 from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors receiving the Omicron Kappa Upsilon award for graduating in the top ten percent of his class. His graduate training took place in Staten Island, New York at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital where he completed a rotating internship. He then served in the military as Chief Dental Officer at the Public Health Service Hospital in LaTuna, Texas.

Dr. Maya is actively engaged in giving back. He has volunteered and taken care of underserved populations in the Philippines with the Helping Hands organization. He has also provided dental services for the homeless in Miami Beach. Dr. Maya is excited to share that he and wife will soon welcome a baby girl.

I went to Vital Dental with a broken tooth with an exposed nerve. Had no insurance so I was nervous. Was in extreme pain and was seen as soon as possible. The staff helped me to cope with the pain and then Dr Williams and his assistant worked magic to stop the pain and removed the broken tooth. I was intending on them being a one time appt but have already switched Dentists after 30 yrs of same Dentist. The ladies are knowledgeable, very helpful and caring! He completed his Residency at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx, NY in 1996.

Dr. Williams volunteers annually and goes on Dental Mission Trips to Jamaica and other Caribbean Islands with the Kiwanis Clubs, Nova Southeastern University and the Church. He taught Evidence-Based Dentistry and Public Health/Prevention in the University of West Indies, Department of Dentistry in Jamaica for two years.

Dr. Williams is very proud of his two children. Amanda has an MBA in Communications and Public Relations. She works on Wall Street. Gerard has an MBA in Sports/Entertainment Management and a Law Degree from the University of Miami. He was recently inducted into the Florida State Bar.
