Two dentists, one office! Far from corporate dentistry! We became friends on the first day of dental school. Similar education, backgrounds, moral values, and priorities in two very different personalities. This is why we work so well together! We believe that our four eyes together benefit our patients. Dr. Esmeralda Muoz was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. After graduation, Dr. Munoz worked at the Sacramento Native American Health Clinic with an underserved population. As part-time faculty of UCSF dental school, Dr. Munoz trained future dentists in restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery. Dr. Muoz has extensive post-graduate training and experience in oral surgical procedures and regularly participates in continuing education. She considers giving back to the community an integral part of her practice. She enjoys educating in schools on preventative dental medicine and volunteering for the homeless Veterans clinic. Together with husband Sevan, and 2 children, Dr. Muoz enjoys traveling, expanding her culinary experiences, and cuddling on the couch with her guinea pig, cats, and Chihuahua.
Dr. Linda Martin has worked in a dental office since she was 16 years old! She was a dental assistant while she earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology and a Masters degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2008, she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Martin was an Indian Health scholar and moved to Arcata, CA, to work at United Indian Health, a comprehensive clinic dedicated to serving a Native American population. There she continued her education in hospital dentistry, oral surgery, and orthodontics. During her practice in Monterey, Dr. Martin has been apart of the UCSF study club for five years, has done a mini-residency in sleep apnea dentistry, and continues to study advances in cosmetic dentistry and CAD/CAM dentistry. If she is not at the office, you can find Dr. Martin spending time with her family, horse, dog, 15 chickens, bunny, and parrot, Tiki. Dr. Martin enjoys fostering for the SPCA, volunteers with dentistry for veterans, and serves on the board of directors for the Ford Ord Equine foundation.

Top notch care!! I called because I was in a lot of pain and had been on a long dental journey at that point. When I called, the receptionist got me in right away. The staff very welcoming and professional when i arrived, parking was easy and free. The office is very nice, very clean and comfortable, although I wasn't in the waiting room long at all. The dental assistant also amazing. I saw Dr Martin and she was kind and so attentive.She said she loves a puzzle and good mystery, however with her experience, skill and talent, I wasn't much of a challenge. She was able to fix my issue (another dentist caused) and I was out the door. That is after I checked out where I met another awesome team member. I am so grateful now I have a team of dental professionals that I can count on. Also check out oral surgeon, Dr. Carr(implants, wisdom teeth), um, he's a medical dr and oral surgeon :) and of course Dr. Dean if you need an endodontist.

Everyone in the office was very nice and professional. On arrival I was quickly taken in for X-rays followed by meeting Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin took an extensive health history followed by a thorough dental exam. After the exam she spent time talking about her findings and making a treatment plan. This is the best dental office I have ever visited and highly recommend them to anyone seeking dental care.

Have had such a positive experience here so far. Everyone has been beyond amazing, really caring and incredibly helpful! I couldn't ask for a better group of people to trust with my teeth. Dr. Munoz is easy to talk to, very understanding and patient even if you embarrass yourself and turn into a hot mess as soon as you sit down,. Rachel is amazing too. Wish I would have come here a long time ago. Definitely recommend to all my friends and coworkers.

The staff at Vista Robles Dental Group are very kind, and gentle. They made me feel like they truly cared about my dental health. I had to have a back tooth filled. The dentist finished a difficult job quickly without pain. I highly recommend this group.

This was my initial visit as a new patient, derelict from dental care for a number of years. Their schedule is full, indicating a healthy practice, yet I was accepted as a new patient. This was a pleasant surprise in this COVID era & immediately earned my gratitude. Another family member is already an ongoing patient, so that may have helped?? There seems to be a culture of good vibes, service and professionalism at Vista Robles Dental Group, front to back, across all staff positions. As a lifetime "dental-phobe", these attributes helped shape a first visit which was pleasant and reassuring. While the treatment lab involved some serious remediation (accepted - my bad for being an avoider), I came away feeling good about the future of my dental health on the whole. Dr. Martin was an attentive listener, explained her clinical opinion clearly in terms of the different components of the exam & diagnostics and presented a coherent and conservative treatment plan. This is the dental practice I have needed and I could not be happier given the realities of my dental history. Thank you, Dr. Martin & Vista Robles staff - you folks are top notch!

Having spent 11 years of my life passing out in dentist chairs from pure fear of pain, I am amazed at how relaxed I am in this office. This is a great tribute to both of these dentists, as well as their professional staff! I have experienced their work as fantastic, gentle, efficient, neccessary and they always stand behind whatever work they do. Can't recommend them enough......

Dr. Munoz is an excellent dentist. She is highly knowledgeable and honest. She will not ask for something unless it's necessary. Her staff members hold themselves to the same standards; knowledge, compassion, and honesty. I worked with the hygienist, Sam, and he was highly knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Martin is the best! My whole family sees her now. My 8 yr old has needed a lot of fillings and Dr. Martin used just the right mixture of comforting and determination to get what is needed done without trauma.

Absolutely delightful. I've always been hesitant to visit a Dental office in the past - anxiety takes over somehow. I've had two visits with Dr Munoz now and I have never felt more at ease and relaxed visiting a Dental office before. The staff - all very cheerful and friendly. I called them for dental cleaning. They scheduled me and my daughters for dental cleaning, and said that they have to do x-ray and exams before the cleaning. I agreed to those in order to get the cleaning done. After doing all the extensive x-rays they told us they were sorry but they didn't have availability to clean our teeth until 5 months later. So we came out without cleaning, with no appointment for cleaning and all the x-rays which won't serve us 5 months later when they have availability for cleaning. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They responded and said that I did not accept the option they gave me. The options is calling me when there's a cancellation and expecting me to drop everything, gathering the kids from school and rushing to their clinic to get our teeth cleaned. I work in a clinic too and do not have the luxury to come out of a busy clinic.
