Dr. Krystal Reyes-Viruet is a revered Florida periodontist specializing in dental implant placement, advanced bone grafting and reconstruction. She is highly-skilled in effectively handling complex implant situations and has earned a reputation for being one of the areas experts on such cases. Dr. Reyes-Viruet is dedicated to both her practice and the dental community.

Dr. Reyes-Viruet is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Board Certified Periodontist, Dental Implant Surgeon and an IV Sedation provider. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed a three year Periodontology residency and Master of Sciences. Dr. Reyes-Viruet completed a general practice and hospital residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she had the opportunity to treat severely medically compromised patients, as well as, oral cancer patients. She graduated with a Doctorate in Dental medicine from the University of Puerto Rico where she distinguished herself first in her class. A strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Reyes-Viruet trained at the Pinhole Academy and became a Certified Pinhole Technique Surgeon. She is also a Certified Laser Periodontal Surgeon.
Dr. Reihaneh Mauer obtained her DMD from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She continued her education and received both her specialty degree in Periodontics along with her Master of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Her passion and devotion to help patients is unstoppable. She is committed to providing high standard care to each and every one of her patients. She prides herself in her work ethic and years of experience in dentistry.
Prior to joining Dr. Reyes at Viruet Periodontics, she worked at multiple offices of North American Dental Group in North East of Florida. She loves to spend her spare time with her family and discover international cuisines. Along with her husband, Dr. Richard Mauer, they are active, consider themselves foodies, and love to explore the restaurant scene.

BEYOND CARING PEOPLE!! Dr. Viruet is an awesome doctor, very professional and knowledgeable but most importantly a great human being, she truly makes you feel seen and heard. I truly appreciate her care and dedication to her patients. Absolutely recommended!

Had an amazing experience with the staff!! I recommend them especially if you have anxiety while visiting the dentist... I did the IV sedation for a tooth extraction and honestly couldn't be anymore pleased with the patience they had with me during this process that i definitely was not looking forward to. Healing process has been great !! Definitely highly recommend them

I have high dental anxiety and absolutely dread going to the dentist, Dr. Viruet and her staff went above and beyond to help me have the best dental experience possible. At my consultation appointment, Dr. V took time to answer all my questions and explain the procedures and options in detail, I love that she never made me feel rushed, you can tell she genuinely cares and wants to get to know and understand her patients. My procedure went great and the recovery as well. I look forward to being a patient of this practice for years to come and definitely recommend it.

Dr. Viruet is such an amazing human being and doctor! You can tell she truly cares about her patients, I appreciate her taking the time to listen to all my concerns, explaining what needs to be done to improve my oral health and why. I needed to have some extractions, bone graft and implants and I cannot expressed how great she is, she has an AWESOME hand, super gentle, no rushing. She takes time to make sure you are comfortable and have the best experience possible. Absolutely recommend this office! Looking forward to have Dr. V as my dentist for decades to come.

The staff and physician were absolutely wonderful and professional! I was impressed with Dr. Reyes' professional knowledge and her bedside manner. There was a error in that my x-rays didn't get sent over by my primary dentist, but this was not Viruet's fault (for this I had to have all my x-rays re-taken). They did offer to allow me to wait while they tried to have them sent over but it was I who said it was ok to just retake them. I'm waiting on their treatment plan after the doctor consults with my other providers. As a physician myself, it is always nice to see another practice run so pleasantly and professionally. I probably should give 5 stars but I've always been told when you get the max it leaves no room for improvement, and we can always find ways to improve . Great job and I look forward to getting my procedures done here (well of course not the procedure itself lol). Doc

Had to go see Dr. Reyes-Viruet due to an issue with my implant placed by my general dentist. You can tell the difference on knowledge by talking to a specialist. Dr. Reyes explain exactly what was wrong and why the implant failed. Walked me through the treatment plan and I could not be more happy with the result. The service was excellent and all the staff was super friendly.
