If you are suffering with any discomfort or pain associated with your jaw (tmj, jaw clicking, achy facial joints) you must see Dr V. I've been suffering with jaw pain for 15 years and have seen over 30 "specialists" who couldn't provide a real solution to my pain. Other specialists suggested Botox, steroid injections, soft night guards and one even tried to sell me a $4,000 device that did not provide guaranteed results which also had to be paired with physical therapy. My amazing acupuncturist (derby Ho) referred me to Dr V after hearing her colleague raved about her jaw pain fading away from Dr V's treatments. Dr V was the first person to truly study and examine my jaw/bite. After working with Dr V, she suggested a mouth splint, that I wear at night And if I didn't have relief/results then I would start to wear it during the day too. after wearing the splint for three nights, I was PAIN FREE! It's been four weeks and I've been seeing dr v for a Weekly check in where she adjusts the splint to my "new bite". I believe I'll be on this jaw journey with dr v for the next year, but I can confidently say I finally found (1) a dentist who I love & trust (2) A true professional Expert that listens and cares for her patients (3) I am finally on the track to life without chronic pain. I have dental insurance but The splint/consultation is not covered but so far I've spent less than $1100 on everything including the splint. I can finally eat food such as bagels, sandwiches, pretzels!!! Before your dentist makes you a basic night guard for $600 give Dr V a chance- a basic night guard will not make the pain go away or fix the problem! I've tried so many and I wish I found dr V 15 years ago.Those night guards can actually Make jaw pain worse. As for the office itself, it's in a beautiful (clean!) building off sunset blvd. I like the morning appointments because there's plenty of local street parking. Dr V's husband scans each patient for Covid symptoms and even pumps hand sanitizer onto your hands before and after the appointment. They don't even "clean"pens they Just let you keep the pen you use and put out brand new pens (fancy!) For paperwork! The rest of the office staff are super friendly and welcoming. I've had a cleaning done at the office, and the hygenist didn't need me to open wide and gave me breaks so my jaw could relax- no one has done that for me before. Thank you Dr V, Anna and Heather!

Mrs. Van Osdel is simply the best! I've gone to many other dentists around my area and surrounding areas, and I find it's always better to drive all the way to the other side of town just to schedule a visit with her... I can trust her diagnosis and trust her treatments will be professional, pain free, clean, and top notch. I've seen Virginia for so many years now, she's almost considered family. I cannot say enough how great she is at what she does.

Dr. Van Osdel is the best dentist I've known! I had patchy work done from a previous dentist who filled a tooth and left decay behind it and it bothered me for years! She was able to correct it and I am so happy! She also uses a special air cleaner so you will be safe during Covid!

I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr Van Osdel and her staff always make me feel safe and welcome. I was nervous because I hadn't had a cleaning in awhile but it was smooth and completely painless! I'm so thankful! The staff and hygienist are wonderful, and Dr V is extremely funny, warm and relatable. Highly recommend!

The most professional doctor with high level of integrity and dedication to clients health. Rear find nowadays. She cares about people, not making more money. I've got lucky to be introduced to her after changing a few dishonest and unpofesdional dentists in the same building on Sunset. I'd recommend her without hesitation to anyone, especially people with difficult cases. Love my doctor and her team!

Dr. Van Osdel and her staff are nothing short of fantastic. I have extreme anxiety with regards to going to the dentist. Basically, I was avoiding it at all costs, until a few months ago when I broke a cap/crown on one of my back teeth. I was so scared and nervous I'd had so many bad experiences in the past. A friend had referred me to her office. I was completely blown away by the level of caring and sensitivity that was given to my extreme anxiety and stress. Dr. Van Osdel is the kindest most considerate dentist I've ever experienced. Each member of her team helped me feel calm - through breathing, music, and just a general feeling of being safe, I was able to get through what seemed like a terrifying procedure to me. Now, months later for the first time I have gone into her office for routine maintenance and a cleaning, with a bit of anxiety but minimal fear, because I know they will take care of me. I am so happy to call Dr.Van Osdel my dentist and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I love my dentist.

Have had Dr. Van Osdel as my dentist for years now and would go nowhere else. The best care, the best hygienists and a friendly front desk staff. I finally splurged on Invisalign and straightened my crooked teeth. It went by super fast, was painless and just like it's name, was truly invisible. I'm in the food business and taking them in and out was super simple. I had trouble flossing prior to this necessitating more frequent cleanings, but now the cleanings are less frequent and flossing is actually enjoyable. Thanks for the support Team Osdel!
