Dr. Joobbani graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Patients of Dr. Joobbani appreciate the comprehensive care and education that she provides before and after treatment.
Dr. Dube and her growing family have relocated to Texas, to seek roads less traveled and also to support her husband's blossoming law career. We wish Dr. Dube and her family all the best, in addition to cool winds once in a while, in their new adventure.
Dr. Sarah Yang grew up in the Northern Virginia area with her family and graduated from the University of Virginia (Dean's List) as well as from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with her D.M.D., where she was recognized with numerous honors and distinctions for her academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Yang has a very broad set of skills and training that she acquired not only from her dental school training but also from the various advanced dental training institutes such as Kois, Spear, Dawson and others. She also completed a residency program (GPR) at St. Barnabas Hospital. Furthermore, Dr. Yang has years of experience in private practice where she excelled in treating patients of all ages and conditions.

I love this office! I have always had a pleasant experience. The people at the front desk are friendly and so very helpful. I used to see Dr. Ransom and she was great but recently I saw Dr. Joobbani, and she was also professional and lovely. They always explain in detail what is going on with my teeth and I have never felt like they were trying to upcharge or scam me. I have gone to some bad dentists before, so I really appreciate that I feel comfortable and like I can trust them at this office.

This is the best dentist in the area. All the doctors and dental assistants are super nice and helpful. They make going to the dentist a good experience and not a negative one. Dr Yang is awesome. Highly recommend.

I've had a great experience here. The front desk staff, dental hygienists, and Dr. Yang are all very friendly and professional. The space is clean and comfortable. They also use up-to-date technology such as their imaging system and Invisalign retainers.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They provide in depth answers to questions about procedure, treatments, and insurance. They also take the time to explain each step of your appointment and the importance of everything they do. They made my dental appointments something I look forward to!

It's taken me so long to find a dental office that I actually want to come back to! The staff is so friendly! They remember your name when you come back in. My dental hygienist is so thorough and kind and helps educate me on best practices for home dental care and Dr. Yang is so patient and nonjudgmental! I can't recommend them enough. I genuinely enjoy going in for appointments.

Very friendly and nice folks. Problem is, you most likely will be over charged. First visit was supposed to be covered by insurance; ended up costing $250 because I was forced to get X-rays which's we're not covered, they did not tell me this before acting; to be clear I asked my insurance, called them before hand, and asked when I went in the make sure this was covered by insurance. At they end of that visit They recommended I come back for another cleaning, gave me quote of around $800. When I went back they said they had made a mistake and it would be closer to $1,300, I paid the whole thing up front with no complaints. As I left they scheduled a follow up, I asked if this was part of my original payment and they said yes, I had nothing else to pay. I went back and sure enough they hit me with another charge It's really stinks because they are really friendly. I asked about the over charge and I got a nice "sorry that happened" but they never offered to help other than saying they'd give me a quote before my next visit. Problem is they've given me quotes before and they've always been wrong. I chose not to go back after my last visit because of this. If you choose to go here, get a quote in writing before letting them work on you or you will be overcharged.

If you are looking for an ethical, honest, and professional dentist to go to, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. My experience here resulted in excessive and undue pain, expenses, and time and energy to resolve the situation I found myself in due to the negligence of Dr. Yang. I had never been to this dentist/office before but decided to book an appointment, as my normal dentist provider/office was booked pretty far out at the time. I had two cavities cleaned and refilled, however, after that appointment, I began to experience a sharp pain in one of the teeth that was worked on. When I came back to the office, I lost all trust in Dr. Yang. She asked me if I had talked/seen the oral surgeon she recommended to discuss possible surgery to which I had no idea what she was talking about as she didn't mention that at the previous two appointments. Basically, she told me that the tooth pain was due to impact from my molar, but it did not make sense to me as I had never had pain in that area before and I also found it questionable since this had not been mentioned previously. I decided to get a second opinion from my regular dentist who informed me that the tooth was fractured. After going to an endodontist, it was confirmed that I would require a root canal and crown to fix the tooth, as the fracture had caused too much damage. This entire situation has been very physically and financially stressful. I reached out to the office to request a refund prior to my root canal to which they did refund me, but $70 is nothing in comparison to the amount I have had to pay out of pocket. In total, I spent over $1,600 to rectify the situation on my own. Even after reaching out to the office again to inform them of the end result (root canal and crown), they have not responded nor taken responsibility for the situation. If you care about your health and your finances, please save yourself the trouble and go to another office/provider. There are many offices in the area that have higher ratings and whose ratings are consistent across all review platforms. One last thing: they will try and get you to buy their Invisalign package or other cosmetic procedures by utilizing this machine that is supposed to identify areas of impact. Most insurance do not cover cosmetic dentistry, which is what they are basically offering, and you will end up spending thousands out of pocket. If you are truly concerned about what they are telling you, go get a second opinion before committing.

If you're looking for a new dentist, Virginia Square Dental is a great option. From the front desk team, to the dental hygienists, to Dr. Yang herself, the staff is incredibly kind. Every experience in the office that I have had has been pleasant. You can tell Dr. Yang cares for her patients. She spends the time really learning of your dental concerns, sharing recommended guidance and putting you at ease (which is helpful as the dentist can be a bit stressful!). I recently had a small procedure done and she called the next day to ensure all was well, which was a nice touch. I would recommend for sure!

Fantastic experience. Everybody is professional, cordial and highly skilled. They have excellent Covid mitigation plan and I felt safe. Dr. Bube' and Brittany are incredible and expertly saved my tooth. They have state of the art equipment, can mill a new crown on site, process dental insurance claims, and offer free indoor parking.

I brought my 2 boys (ages 5&3) to Virginia Square Dental. It was a lovely experience from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. One of the front desk staff came out to personally greet my boys by name and helped them wash their hands. I can't tell you how helpful that was. She was so sweet. My boys were instantly unafraid and in a good mood. Our hygienist was also very friendly and professional. Dr. Ransom was truly excellent with my children. She was warm and helped my boys to understand what she was doing and what was going to happen. This is something they really needed from their dentist. They sat back and watched Toy Story throughout the exam. It was the most positive experience they've ever had at the dentist which was a huge relief for me. There was even a treasure chest full of goodies for them to choose from at the end. I'm happy to say we look forward to seeing Dr. Ransom in the future.

Excellent experience! After 15 years at another local dentist, I switched to Virginia Square Dental and am glad I did. Entire staff was great and explained what they were doing every step of the way. Easy to get to location along with street and garage parking makes the trip to the dentist even better!

Virginia Square Dental is the best dentist I've ever been to. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. You can even watch TV while they clean your teeth!! I can't recommend it enough!
