First of all all my life I've had dental anxiety. After getting an infection in a cracked tooth and needed another tooth extracted I was referred here to Dr Gardner. 10/28/22 after having a consultation a week prior I chose to be sedated and the procedure was done in under 30 minutes. Phenomenal is an understatement of how smooth it went. Receptionists and Staff are Amazing as well. I highly recommend any and everyone to this BEAUTIFUL professional office and Dr. Gardner. I thank God for them for making it so easy with ZERO pain.

First off, I hate any doctors that have to do with my teeth and have extreme anxiety getting into situations where I need to meet with a dentist, let lone an oral surgeon. I waited too long to get my wisdom teeth out. My dentist gave me a referral to an oral surgeon who I met with but wasn't happy with. I went to google to find a local surgeon that would be able to handle my extreme anxiety. Upon making the first appointment, and then going through the x-ray process I knew that this was going to be a different and positive experience. 5 teeth out under IV sedation and these folks were awesome for every step. I am 13 days post op and the stitches have dissolved and I'm back to eating and all the other things. I called them several times after the operation and asked them questions and every single time they answered them with no issue. Approaching 40, I was a little nervous about having a doctor that was younger than me. But honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about my experience. I'm truly thankful that there is a group out there they can deal with my anxiety as well as deal with my pestering on the back end.

I was out getting consultations on a dental implant in the area and Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery (VOFS) was on my list. I was unaware they require completing an new patient workup prior to the consult. This was a crazy amount of paper work and the last item handed to me was that if the doctor required a scan that a $295.00 fee would be accessed. I was led to the scan machine straight out prior to seeing the doctor and I questioned this strategy and was told that it would be removed from the surgical fee's. I had visited 3 other Oral Surgeons in the area that week and none required this $295.00 fee and all seem to have this fancy spinning imaging machine . I don't know much about VOFS or the doctors as they seem friendly enough, but not offering a consult without this fee is not ethical in my view and I will inform my FB and Twitter friends to look else were.

Didn't even make it through the door and had a somewhat bad experience. I needed help and needed an appt but couldn't afford what they were asking UPFRONT for a CT scan (that was not what I even called for) and I told them I was sorry and I would have to cancel my appt that I was currently on the phone making. The lady said "okay I'm sorry too I will cancel that" then hung up immediately after saying that. I understand she had no authority over what happens with insurance just felt she could have been more polite or offered another route for me. Not saying they're a bad business just first impressions stick.

Dr. Phelps removed all four wisdom teeth for me a couple days ago, I was super nervous about it but Dr. Phelps was super professional and made me feel at ease about everything. I have some pain but no swelling which I'm very happy about. I highly recommend this place to anyone, great work guys!

I recently had 4 wisdom teeth extracted, and an extra tooth that was troubling me. I was unable to go under for light sedation, so Dr. Dymon was able to get me in at one of their other offices the following week. I was happy that I did not have to wait a long time to get another appointment. The extraction went well and I am satisfied with the service and care that the entire team gave me. The offices are clean, and they are also following the CDC guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking to have any work done.

Dr. Keeney, is the BEST of the Best!!!!!.......Great staff, very Professional, his sedation is excellent, and I should know!!! I gave Anesthesia for 35 years. His Implant expertise is second to none!!!!

I am not sure what to expect since it was my first time in this office but it exceeded my expectation. Dr. Wheeler and Ms.Barb did a fantastic job during my wisdom tooth removal. I was nervous and I am sure they can tell. However, having a calm and soft spoken doctor and assistant helped my anxiety. Overall my experienced with them is GREAT! I also received a follow up call at the same day to see if I am doing okay. I highly recommend Dr. Wheeler and Ms.Barb. Thank you for taking care of me.

Went for the evaluation and everything went well. But had to reschedule and wait over 2 months because they still had a lack of communication with my insurance and ended up having to go somewhere else.
