Having been in private practice for many years, Dr. Dilolli brings with her, experience, a keen eye for creating a beautiful smile, and an obsession for excellence in the field of dentistry. She strives to create a relaxed atmosphere for patients thus helping them make better decisions about improving or maintaining their oral health. Dr. Dilolli believes that dental treatment should not be a one size fits all. We are all special and unique and listening with an understanding ear is her goal in customizing treatment to fit just you.
Dr. Dilolli graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree before achieving her doctorate from Texas A&M, Baylor College of Dentistry. A lifelong learner, Dr. Dilolli invests time in continuing education every year to stay current with the latest techniques and technology that can benefit her patients. Dr. Dilolli is pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)
Her post -doc training includes dental implants through the internationally acclaimed Misch Implant Institute and Implant Seminars with Arun Garg D.D.S., Orthodontics through the American Orthodontic Society, and cosmetic dentistry through the prestigious Spear Education and Dawson Academy.
When Dr. Dilolli is not at the practice she is a busy mom of two active little girls named Olivia and Mara. She resides with her family in Reston, VA. Dr. Dilolli strives to stay healthy and exercise her body and mind. Her hobbies include traveling and learning about new cultures. She also speaks four different languages Albanian, Italian, Spanish, and English.

Great dentist office. Sonia is steadily becoming a well established professional in dentistry. Dr. Dilolli is so incredibly patient and is phenomenal at her job, with a very favorable price for the patient. Manager Jose is knowledgeable and attentive specialist. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Dilolli for over a year and a half after changing from another practice and we couldn't be happier. Dr. Dilolli and her staff are all very friendly and helpful and her demeanor is calming and allows for going to the dentist not something to dread.

Update: Still my favorite dentist! Quick, thorough and explains things. I was referred by a friend today this dental office. I was searching for a new dentist after I could not get an appointment with the dentist I had for many years. Virginia Dentistry by Design set me up with a new patient appointment in March. Unfortunately I had a terrible toothache over the weekend and when I called Monday morning, they were able to squeeze me in that day. Thank goodness they did because it turned out I needed a root canal (by an endodontist because it was complicated). Dr. Dilolli and her staff were kind, patient, and professional. They also made the call to the endodontist so I could be seen there immediately. I was extremely pleased with their services and look forward to a continued relationship with them. And my teeth feel nice and clean!

Had a front tooth chip off and took weeks to get my act together to make an appointment. Once in the chair, the work progressed with more speed than I realized. A mirror was offered to see what i will be showing the world.....wow! From a snaggle tooth to a nice smile in about an hour! Impressive! And a week later, still impressive!

Very professional staff who ensure one's comfort throughout the dental procedure. The staff is very thorough in fully addressing and resolving the issue at hand. My spouse and I have been patients for two years and have had positive experiences with Dr. Dilotti and her staff. Recently, there has been a change in office staff and we have found the Office Manager to be inflexible, rude and difficult to deal with when scheduling appointments. We had to cancel two appointments due to COVID concerns and were charged a cancellation fee the 2nd time. We understand the office has policies, but the lack of flexibility and need to put profit over patients has been disappointing especially during a pandemic. We unfortunately have decided to transfer to a new dentist. The office staff is much more friendly, understanding and compassionate at our new dentist. Also, when we wanted to transfer our records to our new dentist we were told there was a $30 fee. I have never had a dentist office charge a fee to print out and provide my dental records.

They took me in for what I considered an emergency with 2 hours notice. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. I'm not one to like Doctors, but Dr Dillotti was very personable and humorous. I will reccomend Virginia Dentistry by Design to everyone.

My crown fell off and Dr.Dilolli and her team were able to fit me in immediately. They were very thorough even though they had a packed schedule and even getting emergency calls while l was there. Dr. Dilolli and her team continued to be efficient and professional managing all the patients needs!!

Dr. Dilolli is by far the best dentist I have had anywhere in the world. The entire staff is friendly and responsive. Every care is taken to make sure patients are comfortable and accommodated. During a recent extraction, Dr. Dilolli unexpectedly contacted me at the end of the day to check on me. This is definitely the place to go.
