Dr. Rosenstein obtained an undergraduate bachelor of science in biology from Touro College in Queens, New York, where he graduated as Valedictorian of his class. He then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry from which he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time in dental school, Dr. Rosenstein was inducted into the Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society, as well as the Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society.

Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Rosenstein was accepted into an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Brooklyn, NY. In the course of his training, Dr. Rosenstein provided OMFS services at multiple hospitals throughout the east coast, including Brooklyn Hospital, the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, St. Barnabas Hospital, and Geisinger Medical Center, a level-one regional trauma center in Pennsylvania. After serving as chief resident in his final year of residency, Dr. Rosenstein obtained his certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Rosenstein has authored scholarly works that have been published in both journals and textbooks, including the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, New York State Dental Journal, Dental Clinics of North America, and the European Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Bone grafting not only enables us to restore bone where it is lost but also gives us a chance to stimulate new bone growth in that location. This allows the placement of dental implants of accurate length and width and also provides an opportunity to restore functionality and appearance.

The surgeon uses your own bones to perform this. They get them from chin, your jaw, skull, bone of the lower leg, or even hip. As the surgeon uses your own living bone for bone grafting, this helps to regrow the bone faster. Your body also does not reject the bone used for bone grafting as it is your own.

Also known as allograft is a dead bone extracted from a cadaver. It is then processed using a freeze-dry method to extract the water via a vacuum. As opposed to autogenous bone, allogenic bone cannot produce new bone on its own. But it does provide a platform over which bone from the surrounding bony walls can grow to fill the defect.

It is extracted from dead bones of other species, generally a cow. The bone is refined at high temperatures to reduce immune refusal and infection. It also serves as a framework for the bone from nearby bony walls that can grow to replace the void.

Unlike autografts, both allogenic and xenogenic bone grafting does not need any second procedure to extract your own bone. But due to the absence of bone-forming properties, bone renewal may take longer than usual and give less expected results.

It is a refined allograft bone that holds collagen, proteins, and growth factors obtained from the allograft bone. This product is accessible in powder, putty, chips, or as a gel to be injected through a syringe.

Graft composites are comprised of other bone graft materials and growth factors so that advantage of a variety of materials can be attained. It has different types of blends like collagen/ceramic composite, which is very similar in nature to natural bone, DBM fused with bone marrow cells, helps in the maturation of new bone, or a collagen/ceramic/autograft composite.

I was referred to Vintage Oral Surgery by another Denist office. I was not to happy with their service. I was left with some serious problems. The Dr. at Vintage evaluated and explained what the problem was quickly and preformed the surgery. Now I feel much better because of his actions. So far we are happy with the diagnosis and recovery. We would strongly recommend their services. Thanks Dr. BANNER.

The staff at Vintage Oral Surgery was amazing. They answered and explained each step, helping to reassure us in the process. They made my son feel as comfortable as he could for the surgery and was able to keep him distracted for the IV. He said he loved it here.

Dr is good, however, the office staff is below par. My daughter could not have anesthesia for her wisdom teeth removal because of a medical condition and had to get 2 teeth done at a time. Both times I gave the office the phone number and address of the pharmacy to send her antibiotic and pain medication. The first time they sent it to the wrong pharmacy which resulted in a horrible cat and mouse game trying to get the medication with my daughter crying in pain. Well today was their second chance and the office staff failed miserably again. Not only did they say they sent the Rx to the wrong pharmacy AGAIN (she went to both), but when I called they hadn't even sent it at all and said they would have to wait until the Dr was out of her next surgery. This is completely unacceptable. If the staff is new they should be supervised until they understand the protocol and since we insisted on the prescription being sent to the right pharmacy this time the office manager should have made sure herself that it was done correctly. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless they liked being in pain. The Doctors' should know how their office is handling their patients.

Been holding off getting my wisdom tooth extracted for years because I'm afraid of anesthesia and I have had several bad experiences with dentists throughout the years. I feel like a lot of dental offices in the area try to sell you services that you don't need and you feel taken advantage of. This clinic is not like that at all. They made me feel comfortable from the receptionist to the dental assistants, to Dr. Rosenstein. They are very professional and answered all my questions and concerns honestly. I like that the clinic was clean and bare. These people are just there to take care of the problem with your teeth and they are good at it.

The doctors and staff are excellent both in technical and patient contact skills. Dr Millwala explained that 3-hour rotating doses of Ibuprofen and Tylenol is comparable to codeine with no potential addicting effects. So we didn't pick up the Codeine prescription and just used the 3-hour rotating Ibuprofen and Tylenol as he suggested. The result was fabulous! My son had no pain!!!! We did not bring narcotics into our house or have to try to correctly dispose of them. There was very little bleeding and no pain. The whole experience was amazing and so different from my other children. Thanks Doctors Rosenstein and Millwala and all the staff.

As Dr's reviewed the urgency of 4 teeth removal, they moved swift for consultation and removal the next day. I have had a few oral surgeries in my life and this was the easiest to recover from. The entire office appeared to care about my stress and needs. I do not have a single disparaging thing to say about this practice. 1:00 pm today was my extractions and here I am making sure they have a good review 6 hours later. The two residing surgeons have some serious education and accreditations that blew me away. Its all on their web page. I even have a text number for one of the surgeons incase I run into problems. You will not be disappointed. - Aileen
